'Tinkled on his jeat fighters'
'Catholic Radio bear'
'Found the mental retard naked'
You know, it's a shame because the lyrics are so good and witty, but apparently very few people understand them.
Also, this particular balence used on the song and the fact that it was mentioned in the video reminds me of the 'Rock the Cash Bar' remix. It's bloody brilliant, because it puts the beautiful bass line right out there, and starts of with the awesome tribal drum solo rhythm. I don't know who else has heard it, but I love it. Usually I don't like remixed Clash songs, but 'Rock the Casbah' is too good a dance song to not do it, and it is done so very well. |

Seriously, my mishearings are really minor things like 'a' instead of 'the' or something.
Reminds me of a conversation I had with my sister today, recalling a time when she thought that concentration camps were where Germans sent people to think.
I'm sure she wasn't the only person to ever think that though. I was going to say that, but I figured almost all of the Clash thread regulars would feel the same way. |

Instead of "This is Joe public speaking" I heard "This is your prophet speaking."

now that i'm thinking of it: who speaks/sings the intro to "Clampdown"? I always thought it was Paul tbh, but i read it was Joe. i guess it could be him with a different voice |
