 | July 5th, 2007 at 05:43pm Ok I'm not pointlessly bumping this thread as I feel it is relevant again.
So yeah... what do people think of them playing at Live Earth? Do they actually care about climate change, or are they just testing Wembley Stadium out before they play one motherfooker of a metal gig on the sunday?
Also, what do you reckon the new album's gunna be like? I'm hoping for some great riffs and some epic songs again, maybe like St. Anger but decent. I think it'd sound crap if they try to tap back into their original sound...
The songs on the last album could have potentially been good if they'd have worked on them properly instead of jumping down each other's throats. I'm feeling that this is the direction they're taking again but with a bit of focus. |

I heard there doing a new album, Robert said it's going to be there best album in 15 years. So I'll just have to wait and see. |

Every band says the new album is better then the rest, if not, no one would buy it. I'm not doubting the skills of Metallica, but until I hear it, I can't really believe anything about it; even if it's the band saying so. Is there a definite release date yet? I heard near the end of this year/early next. Not another St. Anger yes? |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 45 | November 7th, 2007 at 08:12am The old Metallica was awesome but St Anger was a HUGE mistake. I wonder if age is getting to Kirk, he seems to be losing his skills and talent pretty much now. |

 | October 25th, 2010 at 12:16pm I'm not a huge fan of Metallica, but I do like the song Enter Sandman, so I guess I could be classified as a fan, although my brother is a big fan, so it kind of runs in the family. |
