American Idiots, chapter 1
I was sitting reading a book on a park bench while my friends Taigan and Francesca went around the park chanting, "PARTY! PARTY!" I laughed at this tommorrow was my birthday(well in 30 intes actually) and we were out in a park at night drunk ass hell. I was staring at my Guitar Legends magazine using a flashlight looking at all the Green Day sections when Francesca came up to me screaming saying that there was someone in the bushes. I told them to shutup so I could listen. "Im scared!" Fracesca whined. " Your 30 years old grow the fuck up!" Taigan yelled. I glared at them to be quiet but the noised had stopped. We all finally calmed down and began walking back to our apartment. I walked up to the door and turned the key and we all ran inside. We chated for awhile then passed out on the floor.
I woke up the next morning to find Francesca on top off me drooling. " Get off you dumbass!" I groaned and with that she shot up and screamed, PANCAKES! I laughed so hard that Taigan woke up also. But she just drifted back off. Francesca ran into the bathroom before I could get into it so I made myslef some cofee. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. " Fucking salesmen." I mumbled. Oh and by the way I forgot to mention we were going to a Green Day concert for my birthday. As I opened the door I nearly shit my pants. It was MIke Dirnt! "Umm...Hi! Sorry to wake you but my friend just smashed our tour bus into a tree and I was wondering if i could use your phone?" I stared for a minute but snapped out of my trance and replied, Sure!" I pointed to the phone. I couldnt help but stare at him as he called. He caught me so I just turned away quickly and blushed. He hung up the phone and turned to me. "Are there any car repair places in your town?" I thought for a moment and smiled. " My dad is but Im afraid he is out of town and wont be back for a week." Mike frowned. I then remembered the concert was today. " We have a concert." he began but I broke in saying, " Today! I have an Idea! Me and my friends are going to your concert anyways since today is my birthday. "Are you sure?" he asked. I nodded. Our eyes met for a split second. Just then Tre and Billie Joe cam running through the door. " Ooooh Mike you come in yo use the phone and we find you flirting?" Tre snickered. Billie Joe tripped over Taigan waking her up. "PANCAKES!" she screamed. I rolled on the floor laughing. When Taigan looked up she was red. "Sorry.." Billie Joe began. " No..Its ok.." Taigan stuttered. Francesca had finished her shower and came down stares with just a towel on. She look shocked as she saw who was down there. "What the fuck?!" she screamed. Mike and Billie Joe were laughing with me and Taigan. But Tre just stood there and stared. Francesca looked up at him and smiled. She joked and said, " Take a picture it will last longer!" "Ok!" Tre smirked pulling out a camera. Francesca began to run but tre chase her around the house until her towel actually fell off. Everyone was on the floor laughing. Tre ran over to francesca and gave her the towel. She laughed and ran upstairs. " Hey Francesca!" Taigan yelled. " Thanks for showing your ass!" BY now eveyone was laughing so hard they had began crying. We then introduced ourselves to each other. "Im Katie..Pancake girl over there is Taigan...And the one who just flashed us is Francesca.." I told them that it was ok if they stayed with us until the concert and they could sleep in the guest bedroom or on the couches if they wanted to wait until my dad had gotten back. They all nodded together. I looked at the clock it was only 11. I then ran upstairs to take a shower. When I came back down I was wearing a black "The Used" shirt and mathcing hat with tight jeans that were shredded at the bottom. "Wow.." Mike said. I blushed and told Taigan to go get ready. Francesca was wearing her normal outfit blue hoodie and jeans. She was chatting it up with Tre too. I smiled at her. And she rolled her eyes. I jumped onto the couch between Miek and Billie Joe and yelled' "TV!!" Mike and Billie Joe fell off the couch. I snickered and turned on fuse. Stevens Untitled Rock Show was on and we all agreed to watch that. The first music video was of Slipknot. everyone screamed and just sat there horrified. I laughed at them and said, " I wonder if they wear those masks cause there real faces are scarier. Everyone laughed. The next video was The Used. I was happier cause as you can tell they are obe of my favorite bands. I started singing then I realised everyone was staring at me. " Nice voice!" Billie Joe smirked. "Thanks!" I laughed. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Mike staring at me. I laughed and was about to say something when I met his eyes again> I swore we were staring for what seemed like hours when Taigan came down the stairs. " To the concert!" She yelled. Tre screamed and ran outside dragging Francesca with him. WE all piled into my Hummer (yes I LOVE those) Mike was siting in the passengers seat with the rest of them in the back. I turned to see MIke staring at me. AGAIN! I smiled at him then started the car. I pulled out of the driveway and headed to the stadium....
