American Idiots, chapter 17
"What the fuck is with all these singers?" Tre screamed. Sure enough Hilary Duff was standing in the doorway with a gun in her hand..wait..A GUN?! I jumped out of the bushes. Mike tried to stop me but I pulled away. "Bitch!" I yelled and she pointed her gun at me. I closed my eyes and waited to be shot but Mike jumped in front of it. "Mike what the hell?!" I screamed as I opened my eyes. I began to cry but he put his hand on my arm and whispered,"She only got me in the leg." I gave him a worried smile and turned back to Hilary. "Alright bitch its time to die!" I flew onto her and kicked her in the face. Grabbing the gun I motioned for Francesca and Taigan to hold her down. She kicked Taigan in the leg. "Fucker!" Francesca growled kicking her back for Taigan. I told Tre to call the cops and Billie to call an ambulence. I slowly walked into Devons house. "Devon?" I called. "Over here.." He whispered. When I walked into the kitchen my stomach lurched. There was a girl(Which Im guessing was his girlfriend) lying on the floor in a pool of blood. "Devon..do you know why she did this.." I asked him. "He shook his head. Puling him into a hug I heard the ambulance coming down the street. It took Mike and the girl away. I came too.
*Inside the house*
"Ok..so what happened?" Billie Joe asked. "We were watching a movie when Julie went into the kitchen to grab a drink..then I heard a gunshot.." With that he broke down. Everyone just gave him a hug there was really nothing they could say. "We WILL get that fuckin bitch back!" Tre declared. They all nodded in agreement.
*Hospital*
"Ok Mike I will be back soon.." I said kissing him on the cheek. I was going to visit the girl(still didnt know her name). I walked in to find her awake. "Hi.." I started. She turned and smiled. "Im a friend of Devon's and I came to see how you were doing.." "I am fine but who did this to me.." She asked. "Hilary Duff.." I said. She looked at me shocked. "I dont get it Hilary was one of my best friends.." I thought for a moment and then it hit me...
