American Idiots, chapter 2
Just as we pulled into the stadium I saw a crowd of kids screaming.
"Shit..." said Billie Joe.
"Looks like we gotta take the back way," moaned Mike.
As we were sneaking out of my car some of them spotted us and came running over. They trampled the three of us trying to get autographs. When they were gone the guys started looking for us. When they saw us on the ground they burst out laughing.
"Shut the Fuck up..." I moaned. Mike helped me up while Billie Joe and Tre helped the other two.
"Hey Katie!" yelled Taigan.
I turned around and they were both holding presents for me. "Awww. Thanks guys." I smiled taking the gifts. As I opened them I found that Francesca had gotten me a crap load of those Livestrong bracelets (I wear a ton of them on my arm). I gave her a big hug, almost killing her. Tagain gave me some earrings shaped like guitars. I laughed and gave her a hug too. I turned and said that we bettter head in. I looked at Mike and saw that he had his head down. "Hey... what's wrong?"
"I wish I had of known it was your birthday..." he said.
"Oh, don't worry, you haven't even known me for a day." I replied happily.
With that I dragged him into the concert and we told them we would meet them after the concert. During the concert I caught myself staring at Mike. The funny thing was he was staring back at me.
After they played Holiday, I saw Mike walk over to Billie Joe and whisper something in his ear. Billie Joe got a huge grin on his face and looked at me. He then walked over to Tre and then went up to the front and said, "Mike would like to dedicate this song for our friend because it is her Birthday today! Happy Birthday Katie!" I was fire red. I smiled at Mike and he smiled back, They began to play the song When I Come Around (I must have told them that was my favorite song).
As we got out of the concert we went backstage to wait for them. When I saw Mike I ran up to him and gave him a big hug. Everyone went, "AAAWWW..." I glared at them then started laughing.
"Hey, what's a good resturant here?" asked Tre. I told him we should go to a buffet and I told them that Golden Corral was only a few minutes away.
"Alright! That's my kinda resturant!" screamed Tre.
I smiled at Francesca because this was her favorite restaurant.
"What?" she said as she hopped into the back seat.
When we got to the resturant Franceca and Tre began stuffing their faces. Taigan ran straight to the tacos. While Mike and Billie Joe stuck to meatless dishes. I, on the other hand, didn't eat much, just some french fries and a bowl of salad. As we sat down I noticed that Billie Joe sat next to Taigan and was chatting away with her. Francesca was betting Tre that she could eat more then him. Then I noticed Mike had sat down next to me.
I turned to him and said, "Thanks so much for the song. I loved it soo.." Before I could finish Mike had kissed me. ME! I blushed and noticed everyone was staring at us. I just ignored them. After we got back to the apartment I showed them all the places they could sleep. Tre took the guest bed as Mike and Billie Joe went for the two couches.
"Got any beer?" Tre asked.
"Sure!" I replied getting out six beers. I saw Francesca give me an evil look when I handed her the beer.
"Come on Francesca one beer won't hurt!" Taigan giggled.
"Fine!" she snatched the bottle out of my hand and began to gulp it down. By 2am we were all drunk as hell when we decided to play truth or dare...
"Shit..." said Billie Joe.
