What Really Goes On In Billie Joe's Head, chapter 3

I jogged to my usual place, Gilman street. This time I stopped to look at Gilman Street. I stopped and admired the graffiti on the walls. Although I was banned from here, it didn't mean I couldn't stop and look at it, right? And also, this place is closed in the mornings. I had noticed a board showing pictures of the bands that played here. There was one band that reminded me of my band. There was also a list of people that were banned from the club. I was on the list. So was George Bush. Damn. I started to run back and my vision started blurring with all the tears I was holding back. I sqeezed my eyes shut while running for a while and opened them. A tear had fallen. When I got home I took a shower. A hot one, just like my tears. After I finished I put my clothes back on. I walked to the bedroom and found Adie still lying there. I slipped into the bed, but when I did, Adie woke up. She rubbed her eyes and sat up. She looked around and saw me lying there. She smiled and lied back down, this time on her stomach. She propped her head on her arm and looked at me. Then she started twirling my curls with her finger. She seemed to do this as she thought. Then she asked, "Why did you go out naked last night?" "I was drunk I guess." I said. "I think there's other reasons too," she said. "Well, I was thinking why everyone was shocked. I get naked a lot. I've even done it for more than 16,000 people." I said. "So that's why you decided to do that?" she asked. "Yeah, I guess." I said. She sighed and looked at me. "You're eyes are beautiful, you know that?" She asked. Well, this was kind of off subject. "I think yours are even more beautiful" I said honestly. "You smell good" she remarked. What the hell? "Yeah, Axe." I lied on my back and looked up at the ceiling. Adie did the same. Then she said, "Joey and Jakob are coming soon, I gotta take a shower." then she went to the bathroom. I just lied there, thinking about last night, if I remebered much. I sniffed myself. I do smell good. I the bed sheets off of me and went to the kitchen. I took some instant pancake batter and made some pancakes. By the time I got the pancakes on the table, Adie finished her shower and blow drying. Then she came and ate with me. We ate alot, we were really hungry. Then the doorbell rang. It was Joey and Jakob. "Joey!" I said as I picked him up. Adie picked Jakob up kissed him on the forehead. "Did you kids eat?" I asked. They both nodded. "I'm tired" said Joey. So Adie took the kids to their beds. It was then I noticed that the house was clean after a night of hard partying. "Woah, did you clean all this mess up?" I asked. "Well, Tre and Mike helped too" she replied. "You did a good job" I said as I looked around. "I wish I helped" I said regretfully. "Its ok," she said "And plus, yiu gave us a show last night!" she said. I laughed at myself. I gave Adie a long hug and then a kiss on her lips. She smiled as I released her. Then the doorbell rung. I answered it and there was Tre and Mike. I greeted them and they came in. "Thanks for the help cleaning up," I said "I appreciate it." "Thanks for the entertainment last night," said Tre raising his eyebrows.
