What Really Goes On In Billie Joe's Head, chapter 4
"Soo, what are you guys doing here?" I asked.
"We're always here!" said Tre.
"What he's saying is, there's no particular reason why we're here." explained Mike. "Oh," I said.
"Got any beer?" asked Tre as he walked his way to the refridgerator.
"Yeah, I have heinekin" I replied. Tre took three cans and threw each of us one. I forgot about Adie, who was still standing behind me.
"You want some?" I asked offering my beer. She shook her head and went in the living room. Tre took a seat on a chair. Then suddenly, he said
"Ahhhhh! Shiit!" "What's the matter?" I asked.
"My drumstick!! I sat on it!" Tre howled.
"Does it hurt that much?" asked Mike. Tre nodded.
"That reminds me," said Mike "I've got my bass in the car. How about I bring that?" We all agreed excitedly.
Adie came out of the living room and whispered to me, "What about the kids? They're sleeping right now!"
"We'll play in the garage I guess," I said.
We set up our equipment and started playing. Adie had come to watch. We played all our old favorites like "Longview", "Basket case", "At the library", "Dry Ice", and "Blood, sex, and booze". It felt so good to be playing again, it seemed like my emotions spilled out as I played and sang. Eventually, Tre and Mike had to go home, they had families too. First, they helped me clean up. Then they went home. Adie put her arm around my waist as we walked inside the house. Adie had to cook dinner so I went in the living room to watch some TV. I was watching our music video, "Holiday" and just noticed something. In the video, when I kissed Tre, my buttcrack was showing! Now probably the world knows what my buttcrack looks like!
"Billie! can you get the kids for dinner?" Adie called.
"Ok!" I shouted back. I went to the boys' room and picked them up. Jakob and Joey woke up when I did this.
"Time for dinner" I told them. Jakob put his head on my shoulder as I walked to the kitchen. I put Jakob in his high chair and put Joey in a chair. Adie set down dishes of spagetti and a little bowl of spagetti for Jakob. Jakob just sat there so I took a fork and put spagetti on it. Then I put it in Jakob's mouth. I kept on doing this until his bowl was empty. Then I wiped his mouth with a napkin. I had special spagetti since I was vegetarian. I ate it and took my dish and Jakob's dish to the sink. Then I took a bath. I noticed that there were some bath bubble stuff probably for Jakob and Joey. I put some of that in the bath water. After the water had filled up I lied down in the water. I did this for almost 20 minutes I think. After that I put on my Ramones T shirt and boxers. Then I went to my bedroom and slipped in next to Adie.
