What Really Goes On In Billie Joe's Head, chapter 52
"Billie...Wake up," said Adie's voice as she shook me.
I lifted my heavy eyelids. Everyone was leaving.
"Get up, you lazy bum," said Adie as she pulled me. I stretched and started walking.
"You really think I'm a lazy bum?" I asked.
"No..I was just kidding," said Adie.
We walked for what seemed like ages and finally got to our limo.
Everyone else was already in it, and they all had a glass of champagne in hand. Tre handed me and Adie a glass. I thirstily gulped down my glass and set it down. I poured myself another glass and chugged that as well.
After that, I basically just sat there for the rest of the ride. I was buzzed, so I felt happy for no particular reason. When we got back to the hotel, I rushed to my room.
I got in and used the bathroom. I had to pee real bad. I flushed the toilet and ran the bath water. I felt like taking a bath. I filled the tub and slipped in. I exhaled and slid into a comfortable position.
The hot water felt good to my tired body. Today was a long day. I rested in the water for about 10 minutes, and then decided to get out. I put on my underwear and put on a plain white t shirt. I bumped into Adie on the way out of the bathroom.
"What have you been doing in there for so long?" asked Adie.
"Bleh. None of your business," I said.
I smiled at her to assure her that I was just kidding. I jumped onto my bed and sat there. I sat there until Adie came out of the bathroom. She got on the bed, too. She closed her eyes for a while. Then she opened them again.
"I can't sleep," she said.
"Hm," I said.
I didn't feel like speaking real words. I hid myself under the covers. The air inside the covers was stuffy, obviously.
I grabbed Adie's foot and tickled the bottom of it. I could hear muffled laughter and then Adie's feet started spazzing out. Her foot hit me under my chin really hard. Then my chin went numb.
I could feel Adie pulling the covers off of me.
"Omigod, where did I hit you?" she asked really quickly. She placed her hand under my chin before I could answer.
"You made a boo boo," I said.
"I'm sorry..."
"Now you need to kiss it to make it all better,"
Adie looked uncertainly at me.
"Go on. Kiss me. Do it. Do it."
She hesitantly made a move to my chin.
"What if it hurts your chin?" she asked.
She was an inch away from my chin.
"Don't be silly," I said.
I pulled her face towards mine. I placed my lips on hers. Adie fell onto her pillow, and I ended up being on top of her.
She stopped kissing me for a moment.
"This is your excuse just to have a make out session?" she asked.
I twitched.
"I wouldn't call it a make out session..."
She immediately put her mouth back on mine. After a few moments like this, I thought I heard the door open.
I thought I was just imagining it so i didn't pay attention to it.
Then I heard,
"Ugh! Gross!".
