Longview, chapter 2
A few minutes later, after taking some detours to throw the cop off, Stacie and I arrived at her house.
"Ugh....." someone in the back seat moaned.
"OH MY GOD! HE'S ALIVE!!!" Stacie said, jumping.
"Good thing too, are you okay?" I asked Billie.
"Huh? Where the crap am I? Ugh, my head hurts like hell!"
"No duh, you were just hit by a car. Stacie, help me carry him into the house," I oredered.
Groaning, Stacie walked over to Billie Joe's door and opened it. Slinging him onto her shoulders, she took him inside. I followed close behind.
A few hours later, Billie Joe was cleaned up and better than ever, although he still had a monstrous headache.
"Hey look, we'd better keep you here for a while, since you shouldn't be doing gigs with a headache like that. But just remeber this, we were NOT the ones that hit you, okay?" I sounded like a mother, great.
Billie Joe's POV (point of view)
My head throbbing, I looked up at Lindsey. "YOU two were the ones that hit me? I swear, if ANY and I mean ANY damage is done, I'm suing."
"Fair enough," she shrugged.
"Oh my god, can I just get some sleep?"
"Yeah, Lin, just leave the poor guy alone! Sheesh!" Stacie butted in.
"Hey, you stay out of this, YOU were, after all, the one who hit him, and besides, he can't go to sleep with a headache like this! He might never wake back up again! Use your brain, Stac," She snapped.
A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door.
"I GOT IT!!!" Stacie yelled. She thundered over to the door, flung it open, then immediatley slammed it shut.
"LEAVE, NOW!!! And bring Billie! We have to get out of here!!!" She yelled, scrambling about.
Lindsey's POV
"Why, oh my god, was that the police??" I whispered, panic striken. I could feel the blood in my cheeks rising.
"Those stupid bastards," Billie Joe commented.
"OPEN UP, THIS IS THE POLICE!!!! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!" The police man screamed, pounding on the front door.
"Quick, out the back door!!" Stacie yelled, picking up Billie Joe once again.
Scurrying to the back door, we soon became face-to-face with another police man. Stacie slammed the door shut in his face as well.
"What are we going to do, they have the place surrounded!" Stacie said while pacing.
Suddenly, the front door collapsed inwards, falling on the floor, revealing a police man. "We warned you twice, now come out with your hands in the air, all three of you!" God was that police man pushy.
"Okay, okay, we're coming, see?" Stacie yelled, putting her hands behind her head.
Before the police man had the time to handcuff us all, we stampeded out the front door as fast as we could. Yanking her car door open, Stacie jumped in the driver's seat, while Billie Joe and I flew into the back seats.
Speeding down the street, the car stopped suddenly.
"Oh SHIT!" Stacie exclaimed, pounding the steering wheel with her fist, "I forgot to get gas, all of us out, NOW! We're going to Lindsey's place!!"
"We are, are we? Then they'll just track us down and my parents'll be pissed! Billie Joe, do you know of anywhere we could go?"
"I've got the perfect place," he said, motioning for us to follow him as he ran off.
