Love at First Sight, chapter 10
"... I love you..." Billie Joe whispered into your ear. You turned to face him your eyes wide with disbelief. No guy had ever said I love you to you before. Jumping up from your bed you start to pace the room.
"What? What's wrong?" asked Billie Joe alittle confused.
"No, Billie! No! You can't love me!" you said while still pacing the room.
"Why not?" Billie Joe said with alittle laugh while getting up from the bed and walking over to you.
"Because Billie... I'm such a mess." you said turning to face him but not looking him in the eye.
"Hey, hey it's ok, you're not a mess." he said while gathering you into a warm hug.
"Yes, I am Billie. And I've messed you up too. You haven't been to band practice in so long, and it's all my fault." you said.
"I choose to take a break from the band and practices, because I wanted to be here for you." Billie Joe said while rubbing your back to console you. After a few minutes of silence you finally spoke.
"I love you." you said still holding onto Billie Joe. Who at that moment pulled you from him and kissed you sweetly on the lips.
