Sixteen, chapter 12
I turn around in shock, while covering my arm, to face Billie Joe.
"Oh, hey Billie Joe, I didn't know you were there." I said trying to cover up what I did, if he saw anything.
"What are you doing?" he asked
"What are you talking about, I wasn't doing anything?" I said to him nervously
"Casey, I just saw what you were doing?" he says in a firm voice
"And what exactly was that," I said sarcastingly
Billie Joe walks up to me and grabs my arm, rolling down my sleeve
"Im talking about this, Casey" he said in a firm voice "Why would you do that?"
"What kinda bitch, backstabbs their best friend and makes out with a bigger bitch," I yelled
"Casey, I didn't want it, I knew you were there, I wouldn't do that to you" he said
"Could of fooled me, how am I supposed believe you or anyone," I replied
"Because, Casey, I love you." he said meaningfully
I froze for a sec then turned around to look at Billie Joe in his eyes.
"Wha-at ?" I said in disbelief
"Casey, I love you" he said again
I bit my bottom lip, and looked down at my black socks, Billie Joe then raises up my chin so my blue eyes are leveled with his green eyes, our faces were drawn closer until our lips touched....
'the phone rings'
I pull away from the kiss, knowing that I also loved him, and walked to the pink feathered phone
"Hello?" i said
"Hey beautiful." the voice said
Those two words I despized immediatly told me that it was him, Cory, who was on the phone.
"How did you get my phone number?" I asked in a frightful tone
"Ever heard of a phonebook" he said in a freakishly calm voice
"Okay, what the hell do you want?" I said irritatedly
"You" he said almost whispering "Oh yeah before I go tell Billie Joe that I said hi."
"How do you know he's here" I asked in an evenmore frightful voice
"Because I'm always watching, you from when you wake up to when you go to bed" he whispered
The sound off his voice chills my bones and after that he hung up, I slowly hang up the phone with my eyes wide open.
"That was Cory, wasn't it." Billie Joe said in a low voice.......
