Whatsername, chapter 12
The next morning, Billie Joe woke up around 11 but he didn't sleep well at all. Hopping out of bed, he walked down the hall and then down the stairs to find Adrienne making breakfast and the boys sitting at the table.
"Morning Dad!" they shouted.
"Morning" said Adrienne as she gave him a quick kiss on the lips.
Billie sat at the table and rubbed his eyes. Adrienne served their food and joined them at the table. Once again, they had their usual conversation. When breakfast was done with, Joey and Jakob walked to their rooms to play. Billie walked off to the bathroom to take a shower and Adrienne stayed in the kitchen, washing the dishes.
Billie reached to grab a towel. Pulling the curtain back and walking out, he saw that small box on the counter. The 'Home pregnancy Test'. It wasn't opened yet, letting Billie know that there weren't results. Why was he so nervous about it? After Jakob was born, he wanted another child. But for some reason, that all changed.

Billie was watching TV with Joey on the couch when he heard a small scream of joy and a small sob afterwords coming from the bathroom. He lifted his head as he heard a few more sobs and foot steps. Adrienne popped her head into the doorway and gestured for Billie to follow her to the kitchen. He got off of the couch and walked behind her. She turned around and smiled. It was quite a big smile too. He tilted his head in confusion. They sat down at the table and Adrienne opened her mouth to speak.
"Billie, I didn't tell you this and-" she stopped to let another quick sob pass. "I've known for a couple of days but...I'm late,"
"Oh shit!" Billie thought. His mouth dropped open.
She continued, "I took a test and...we're going to have another baby!"
She jumped out of her seat in joy and Billie Joe sat there in disbelief. Why wasn't he as happy as her? He felt the joy inside of him but he was just in shock. He shot up out of his seat, finally feeling the hidden happyness hit him like a ton of bricks. He walked over to her and gave her a big hug.
"This is great!" he shouted.
"I know, I know!"
Joey walked into his room with a face that read 'what the hell is going on in here?'.
They turned to him and smiled while he remained confused.
Adrienne walked up to him and gave him a hug saying him and his brother were going to have a new brother or sister. The joy and happyness didn't seem to get to him because he walked back to the TV.
The rest of the night, Billie and Adrienne spent together just talking, kissing, and hugging eachother. Billie Joe had forgotten all about the night before until they were doing all of this. The kiss Juliet and him both shared and how they had made love behind Adrienne's back. She couldn't know and he wished she wouldn't have to. He didn't want to crush the joy they had built together. It would cruch Adi's heart and he loved her dearly. The last thing he wanted to do was make her unhappy with something stupid he and an old grlfreind had done the night before...or was it stupid at all?
