Whatsername, chapter 14
Was he really going to do this? Putting his marriage at risk all for her?
Those two thoughts ran through Billie Joe's head on the drive to Juliet's house. He knew it was wrong but he couldn't help himself. Her beautiful blue eyes and her soft blonde hair...he couldn't keep his mind off of her.
As he pulled into her driveway, more thoughts collected in his mind. He paused for a moment after turning the key in the ignition and looked up at her house. He sighed and slowly opened the door. Stepping out of the car, he could hear the front door opening and saw Juliet's small figure walking toward him. She grabbed him by the hand and rushed him inside. After the door was closed, she turned around and began to kiss him very passionately. All Billie Joe did was wrap his arms around her. Every trouble seemed to disappear and all they thought about was eachother. No Adrienne. No Jakob or Joey, not even Billie Joe and Adrienne's 11 year marriage. All they thought about was each other and how they knew they were...in love. Juliet pulled away from him and flashed a quick smile. He pulled her into a hug and they just stood there. Maybe this was the right thing to do. Juliet's phone began to ring, breaking the two apart from each other. She quickly walked into the kitchen to answer it. Billie Joe could hear her soft voice.
"Hello?" she asked. "I can't talk now Tre, I'm busy. I'll call you later."
Shit! Billie Joe forgot all about those two. How he saw them kiss. It broke his heart. She spoke to Tre on the phone as if Billie Joe wasn't supposed to hear.
He heard her hang up and her soft footsteps coming down the hall.
"Sorry," she replied.
"It's fine, I should go now," said Billie as she turned to the door and opened it.
"Sure, when do you think we can see each other again?"
"I dunno, I'll call you later."
And with that, he walked to his car.

Billie hardly spoke to Tre at the studio. Tre had no idea why, of course. He just blew it off and continued with what he was doing. Mike and Jason both noticed that something was tearing at him on the inside. It seemed so bad that they both even noticed Billie Joe's eyes getting a bit teary. But all Billie Joe did was turn away and secretly dry his eyes. Jason and Mike then pulled him outside for a little talk.
"You okay Billie?" they both asked.
"Yah, fine."
"No, you're not," said Mike. "We've both noticed you turning away and wiping tears away. You can't just say nothing's wrong."
"Nothing! I'm fine!" shouted BIllie and he stormed back inside.
Jason and Mike looked at each other with wide eyes.
"Leave him alone. Whatever it is, he'll get over it. I hope," said Jason.
