Whatsername, chapter 4
Billie walked out of Jakob's room and was headed to the kitchen. He grabbed a Coke from the fridge and went to the family, sat down, and turned on the TV. He wasn't paying any attention to what was on but he was thnking about Juliet once again. "Why did Adi ask me not to leave her?" he thought to himself. "Its not like I'm gonna' find Juliet and sleep with her." . Adrienne walked into the room and took a seat next to her husband. "Whats on?" she asked.
"Oh, I'm not paying attention." said Billie Joe.
"You seem stressed honey." said Adrienne. Billie could hear the worry in her voice. He couldn't tell her that he.....was he still in love with Juliet? No, no he couldn't be. He hasn't seen her in over 10 years. he couldn't be in love now. Adrienne had to call his name a few times before he realized he had drifted off in his own thought.
"Its just the recording that we're doing." he lied.
"Ok, I was getting a little worried about you." she said reassured.
When it came time for dinner, Adrienne ordered 2 cheese pizzas and waited for the delivery. Billie Joe, Jakob, and Joey waited at the dining table eagerly. As soon as the pizza arrived, they all began to eat and have their usual conversation. Juliet still remained in his mind and he was now begining to feel sick of this thought.
*the next day at the studio*
"Damnit!" yelled Tre.
"What the hell are you doing Tre?" asked Mike and Billie.
"I was looking in the fridge and we don't have any damn beer, or any food!" he said. "I'll go get the stuff" said Billie. He needed to get the hell out of the studio anyways.
"Ok, but hurry your ass up." said Tre. Billie got his keys and drove off.
"Its only 2:00 in the afternoon" he thought to himself as he was looking for the local liquor store. "Why the hell would Tre want to get whasted now?" As Billie pulled into the parking space, he waked into the section with all of the stuff they would need. He bumped into a girl as he was walking to the front counter.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." he said giving her a hand up. "Its fine" she said. "I'm okay."
She looked into his eyes with shock.
"Oh fuck" thought Billie. "Another insane fan."
"Billie!" she shouted. He then realized........it was Juliet!
"Juliet!" he said in shock. "Wow its been so long."
"I know, hey...how would you like to go get a cup of coffee?" she asked.
"I'd love to but I have to get back to my freinds. How about I give you my number and we can do this tomarrow?" he asked.
"Sure." she said. He gave her his phone number, payed for the beer, and left.
He picked up the other stuff that Tre wanted and was on his way back to the studio. "Damn, what the hell is Adi gonna' do once she finds out I gave my ex-girlfreind my or our number?" he thought in fear. "Nothings gonna' happen between us though so.....we'll be fine."
The trio got whasted that night and a cab came to pick them up and drive them all home.
The next morning, Billie found himself in his boxers and on the couch with a HUGE headache. "Oww!!" he shouted as he rised himself from his spot.
The phone rang so he answered it of course.
"Hello?" he said in a raspy voice.
"Hey, how about we go get that cup of coffee?" the person said on the other end. It was Juliet. "Sure." said Billie. "I'll meet you at Starbucks at 12:00." he added. Billie got ready, told his wife he was meeting an old freind, and drove off to Starbucks.
"Noting was gonna' happen with them right?" he asked himself.
The only fear he had as he walked up to the door was that......is anything gonna' happen?
"Oh, I'm not paying attention." said Billie Joe.
