Whatsername, chapter 5
Billie Joe walked into the coffee shop and saw Juliet sittining at a small table with a big smile on her face.
"Billie Joe!" she shouted running up to him and giving him a hug.
"Juliet!" shouted Billie Joe. The thought of his wife finding out he was with her was still one of his in his mind. "She wont find out, and besides....its not like you are going to sleep with her and leave Adi." he told himself, but he was still unsure if he was completely right.
"Wow, we need to catch up on so many things!" said Juliet in amazement. "Come sit down." she said, pulling him to the small table.
"So whats up?" she asked. Billie Joe was going to tell her now that he is married. She has a right..no....she NEEDS to know. "Well" he began, "I'm married". There was no look of sadness on her face so he knew he and Adrienne would have no problems in their future. "Oh thats great!" she said, "To who?".
"Adrienne, I don't think you've met her but we've had 2 sons together." said Billie Joe. "Oh, wow. Billie Joe Armstrong with two children. I got divorced not to long ago." she said. Billie Joe couldn't bring himself to answer her, she didn't mind though.
The two continued to catch up on all of the things they had done since Juliet had moved away so many years ago. "I just moved back here, i was looking for a new job. I also needed to get away from Washington." she said. Billie Joe remembered when she last spoke to him. She was telling him that she needed to leave for a relative that was having issues. He screamed at her with pain and guilt, he thought she was only saying that to get away from him. Billie Joe's cell phone began to ring. It was Tre, probably wanting to get whasted at the studio again. "Sorry Juliet, Tre is in need." said Billie Joe sarcastically. "Yes go, he needs you! Tell him I said Hi though." she said. "Why don't you tell him yourself!" he joked. "Come meet us at the studio at ohh....lets say 6. Heres the address" he said writing it on a slip of paper and handing it to her. "Thanks Billie Joe! I'll see you guys there."
Billie Joe walked out of the coffee shop saying to himself, "Fuck Billie Joe! What the hell are you gonna' do if Adi finds out?". "We're only freinds, nothing wrong with that." he said. He got into his car and drove out to Tre's house.
Once Billie Joe got to Tre's house, he found him sitting on his couch watching the TV. "Where the hell were you?" asked Tre. "I was out with Juliet, I ran into her at the liquor store yesterday." said Billie Joe. "What? You were out with an old girlfreind? What the hell is Adi gonna' think?" asked Tre. Billie Joe frowned at the question. "We're only freinds. Juliet doesn't want anything to do with me." he told Tre in a reasuring voice. "She is going to meet us at the studio at 6, she wanted to see you and Mike." he continued. "Ok, if there is any funny shit going on with you two, I'll tell your wife!" said Tre in sarcastic voice.
Billie Joe stayed with Tre until 6. Then they drove off together, Tre eager to see Juliet and Billie Joe feeling a little nervous.
