Whatsername, chapter 7
Billie Joe sat on the couch and wondered if he should stop them or if he should blow it off. He had Adrienne and he knew that he loved her, he just wasn't sure if he loved Juliet more or at all. He could hear them laughing softly. What was he going to do? Billie Joe fell asleep in guilt, pain, and confusion that night.
The next morning, Billie Joe woke to the smell of Mike's coffee and the chattering of Tre and Juliet. "Stupid Tre" Billie Joe thought in the back of his mind but he knew he didn't mean it.
"Good morning Sleeping Beauty!" said Mike in a cheerful voice.
"What time is it?" asked Billie Joe.
"A little after 11" replied Mike. "Coffee?"
"Sure."
Billie Joe sat down next to Juliet and Tre. As he was drinking his coffee, he looked over at them noticing they were holding hands.
"How'd you sleep Billie Joe?" asked Juliet.
"Fine, a little unconfortably."
They drank their coffee in silence after that. When they were finished, they thought they should go home. Tre and Mike were walking out of the door and Billie Joe and Juliet behind them. Juliet stopped Billie Joe and looked a little worried.
"I'm sorry for what happened yesterday Billie Joe"
"Why?" he asked.
"Well I know Adrienne means alot to you and I don't want to get in the way of what you two have done. I need to talk to you later, just you and I...Okay?" she asked.
"Sure," said Billie Joe "and about yesterday...its okay."
"Good, I'll call you later." she said to him walking out of the door. Billie Joe locked the door behind him and drove home.
When Billie Joe walked through the door, Adrienne was sitting in the kitchen.
"Billie Joe?" she asked.
"Yah, I'm home."
"Come in here." she said. Billie Joe walked into the room and she glared at him.
"You didn't tell me you were staying at the studio."
"I know, we fell asleep." he said.
"Okay, the boys and I were worried." She got up, gave him a kiss on the cheek, and walked into the family room.
They sat down together and watched TV while Joey and Jacob were at school. Adrienne said that she needed to get some sleep because she had stayed up quite late the night before. The phone began to ring and Billie Joe got up to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Billie Joe?" asked the voice. "Its me, Juliet."
"Hi, are you okay?" asked Billie Joe.
"No, not really. I really need to talk to you." she said.
"Whats up?"
"I think I should tell you in person." said Juliet. "At Starbucks, if later today is fine with you."
"Sure, like around 5?" asked Billie Joe.
"Yah, you can't be late cuz' i really need to get this off of my chest." she said.
They hung up with eachother and Billie Joe walked back over to the couch.
3:00 rolled around and Joey and Jacob came home from school. Billie Joe made them lunch and Adrienne woke up. When it was 4, Billie Joe told his wife who he was meeting when he got home and walked out of the house. Adrienne seem a little mad at the fact that Billie Joe was leaving the house AGAIN and she really wanted to know who this person Billie Joe was meeting at the coffee shop.
When Billie Joe pulled up to Starbucks, he saw her car in a parking space so he knew she was here but by the way it was parked, he knew she was under stress. For the second time, Billie Joe found himself walking inside to see her face. A very sad Juliet sat at the same small table. He walked over to it nervously and....
