Whatsername, chapter 9
Billie plopped down next to Adrienne on the couch the next day. He really wanted to know what was going on with her. As she sat there acting as if Billie wasn't with her, he decided not to mess with the bullshit and ask.
"Adi, whats wrong?"
"Nothing Billie"
"Don't tell me that. Why have you been so angry latley?" he asked.
"Okay, I'll tell you. I think you need to take break with all of the booze. You come home almost every night drunk! Sometimes you don't even come home until the next day!" she yelled as she got up off of the couch with Billie following her. He stopped her and her pulled her in for a kiss.
"Okay, I'll stop." he said.
"Good" she said kissing him softly on the cheek and walking into the kitchen.
Joey and Jakob came home from school at 3:00 and did the usual 'after school activities'. TV, homework, dinner, TV, and bed. Adrienne seemed a little less angry and unhappy around Billie Joe.
-One Week Later-
Billie woke up to the sound of the phone ringing. He got up slowly, walked over to it, and answered.
"Hello?"
"Hi Billie, I was wondering when you and the other guys were going to be hanging out together."
It was Juliet.
"Oh, hi!" he said. "I'm not sure but we can watch a movie at Tre's house tonight."
"Sure, I'll meet you all there at 7!"
After they hung up, Billie got the 'okay' from Tre who said Claudia and Frankito would be out doing stuff.
Billie noticed Adrienne was gone so he took a shower and waited for everyone to come back.
About half anhour later, Adrienne walked through the front door with bags of groceries in her hands. He helped he carry them into the kitchen and looked through the bags for something good to snack on until dinner. Adrienne was in the restroom when he found a small rectanular shaped box that read 'Home Pregnancy Test' on the front. "OH MY FUCKING GOSH!" thought Billie.
"Is she pregnant?"
Adrienne walked back into the room, kissing Billie on the cheek as she went to put the food in the fridge. All Billie did was give her a nervous smile, and walked out of the room in shock.
Joey and Jakob came home at 3 and 6:00 rolled around soon after.
Billie put his coat on and grabbed his keys.
"Adrienne! I'm going to Tre's to watch a movie!" shouted Billie.
"Okay! No booze!" she yelled back.
"It's only temporary." he thought to himself as he walked out of the front door.
