The Demon., chapter 1

Will woke up sweating and frustrated. He had a nightmare, but this wasn't a normal nightmare, no, this one was different, very different and little did he know that they would change his life. He had started having nightmares that week, he didn't know why, but he thought it was something to do with starting a new school. Wills Step Dad Stewart, was in the Army, which meant them moving around a lot. His Mum, Jo, was a self-employed cook. Will himself was thirteen and went to a school called Milldown, a school he though was a complete dump, but in fact it was a very good technology college.
When Will got up that morning, after having his nightmare, he when down stairs and noticed Louise, his ex-girl friend and the person who he walked to school with, was sitting there talking to his mum.
"What are you doing here?"
"Waiting for you to walk to school," Lou replied.
"Its half past six though" he looked at his watch and it said it was half past seven. "Oh sss... " He looked at his mum who was staring intently on him "... . sssugar!" He ran up stairs and got changed as quickly as he could.
When he got down the stairs he found that the dog was lying on the floor, dead. He looked around and saw nothing out of the usual.
He heard a "Will?" in an eerie voice
"Y... . e... s... ?"
"Will!"
At this point, he thought he was going mad, but when he took his eyes off the dog he could see Lou looking at him.
"What's wrong Will? Looks like you've seen a ghost,"
"... . Oh it was nothing," and he walked out of the front door, but before he did he checked on the dog who, like normal, was rolling about playfully.
Will and Lou's journey to school was eventless, but its what happens when he gets there that helps shape his life...
