~*~MELANIES P.O.V~*~
You looked at Jason in the cold night air, his eyes were dilute, and he was drunk. You looked around at all the people in line, and then it started moving. "Finally." Jason said moving up, dragging you behind. You got up and gave the man your ticket. He eyes you suspiciously and then let you in. "What was his problem?" Jason asked. "dunno." You replied. You guys went in. almost immediately the lights dimmed and out ran Billie Joe, Tre, and Mike. They started right away with American Idiot. Jason started dancing with every one else, to blend in, so did you. You were watching Billie Joe when suddenly he looked at you, then Jason. *uh oh.* you think. "Jason, lets move, this guy keeps elbowing me." You say, so you and Jason move. You notice Billie scan where you and Jason just were, looking confused. They finished American idiot and a couple other songs and then they started picking people from the audience to come play. You ducked low; you didn't want Billie to see you. The people went up and played a song and went back down, Billie, Mike and Tre went back and started another song, while playing the guitar to start off, Billie started to say something. "This song, is dedicated to a girl I used to know. Melanie." He says and he starts singing. You look over at Jason who has stopped dancing and was looking at you. "What?" you yell. "WHAT THE HELL?" he yells back. "JASON THERE ARE A MILLION OTHER MELANIES IN THE WORLD!" you yell back. He looks at you suspiciously Then begins dancing again.*Close* you think. They end the song and leave the stage. The crowd cheers and they come back for an encore. They begin to play an old song, Longview. They finish up and every one starts leaving. You get outside and Jason turns to you...

You think your going crazy and run over to the building before anyone sees you. You walk in. "Why did you take so long?" Tre asks. "I thought I saw... never mind." You say. Tre looks at you. "BILLIE! This is the fourth time! She is not HERE she is probably in GERMANY!" He yells. "I KNOW, BUT I CANT HELP IT!" you yell back. Then you hear the crowd start cheering. You grab you guitar and run out. You start right off with American Idiot when you see her again Standing right in the middle of the crowd with some big guy. You look up for a moment and look back and they are gone. You play another couple songs and pick a few people from the audience, hoping to find her again, but to no avail. After that you decide to play your new song. "This song, is dedicated to a girl I used to know. Melanie." You say. Then you begin singing. You finish and go back stage. "WOW GREAT SHOW GUYS!" Yells mike. You hear the crowd again. "Ok, ok let's go." Tre says you run back out for 1 last song, Longview, one of your favorite songs. You get off stage and walk out back to your tour bus (which is hidden from the public), to see Melanie, You were sure it was her, but that big guy was grabbing her. She screams and you decide to go help. You run over and grab the guy. "What the HELL?" he yells. And turns and swings at you. You duck, he is very slow. You punch him in the stomach and face. He gets really mad and swings again. This time he hits your jaw. Shit, he may be slow but he has a good punch. You kick him in the groin and hit his face on your knee. You pull his hair around and push him over. He gets up and looks at you, then Melanie. "I'll teach you when you get home." He says and limps off. You look at Melanie.

You watch Jason limp off and look back at Billie, who is staring at you. "Melanie, I can't believe I found you, Finally." He says smiling. "I knew I shouldn't have come." You say to yourself. "What?" Billie asks. "I SHOULDN'T HAVE COME! I SHOULD HAVE STAYED HOME! JASON WOULD'VE JUST GOTTEN ONE OF HIS SLUTS TO GO INSTEAD OF ME!" You yell and go to leave, but Billie grabs your arm. "Melanie, I-"he starts. "LET ME GO! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE... leave me alone." You cry as you slump to the ground. Billie leans down in front of you and try's to get you to look at him. He lifts your chin but you pull away again. You sit there crying. "Melanie, please look at me. I have been looking for you for a month and I have finally found you and you won't even talk. I have loved you for as long as I have known you and... " again you cut him off. "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE!" You cried. "You should have gone out and found someone worth it. I got you shot; I put you through emotional damage. I got your marriage broken. I ruined your life! You should have left me on the bench to fend for myself like all the other jerks in this world would've! But you didn't you had to help me! WHY DID YOU??? Why did you have to help me... " you said. "I don't care about all that it's over now!" He says. "I did all that stuff, because, because, well, I love you." You look up at him, he smiles. His green Eyes melt your heart but you snap out of it and look away. "Billie, I have a boyfriend now." You say. "THAT BIG ASSHOLE? The one just trying to RAPE you?" You nod. He looks furious.
