Hidden Lives, chapter 2

You woke up to a man standing over you. Your first idea is to scream but as you look into his shining green eyes you realize he's not going to hurt you. You smile. He was really nice looking. You sit up. "Ummm, are you ok?" The man asks. "Yes why?" You say. You were a bit confused. "Well, you are sleeping on a park bench for one." He says. "So?" you ask. "Well... umm, I" He stutters kind of confused himself. "Well, is there something wrong with it?" you ask him slowly. "Umm well kind of. Are you homeless?" *Shit, why did I say that?* He thinks. You look up and see him looking utterly confused. "Well, kinda, I mean I got kicked out... but I saw other people sleeping on the benches thought... " you say. "Well you can stay with me... "

"Well you can come stay with me... I am Billie Joe." You stopped and waited for her to scream and freak out, but she didn't. She smiled, stuck out her hand and said, "Hi, I am Melanie." You were very taken back but happily shook her hand. "Umm do you know of a band named Green Day?" you asked. "Of, what?" she asked. "Umm, Green Day, you know, a band?" You were totally stunned as she shook her head and asked, "What's a band?"
