Things Would Never Be The Same..., chapter 5
"Hunny whats happened?" Billie Joe said to the little girl on the phone." Mark hit mommy...and...she wont wake up...please get here fast Billie Joe" Sara cried.
Oh God.."Look baby i will be over in 1 minute ok? Look i love you and hold on" He assured her." I love you too" She said before Billie Joe hung up.
He got his clothes on as fast as he could. He woke Tre and Mike up and told them what happened and to get there soon. He ran out of the house and drove to Hayley's like a madman!
The front door was open and he ran in."Billie Joe" Sara cried and ran into his open arms.
Seeing her cry made tears fall from his own eyes."Where is she?" He asked her.
Sara pointed to the kitchen and held on to Billie Joe tighter."Sweetie go sit down and call me when Mike and Tre get here ok?" The little girl nodded and sat by the window.Her whole body shook with the sobs that were coming out of her.
Billie Joe ran to the kitchen and gasped when he saw Hayley unconcious on the kitchen floor. Her eye and lip were black and swollen.He ran over to her limp body and shook it."Lee please wake up, Wake up" He cried.But she didnt move....
He picked her up and carried her to her bedroom and lay her on the bed.
"Hayley....Its me please wake up..." This time she groaned but still her eyes werent open. At least she was alive and could hear him.
Soon Mike and Tre came and Tre took Sara to her room and stayed with her.
When Mike walked into the bedroom he saw Billie Joe sobbing on the edge of the bed."Its ok.." Mike said to him. " No its not fucking ok Mike! This is my fucking fault that this happened...I started a fight with Mark and he did this to get back at me....He knew how much i care for her!He knew how much i love her..But no he goes and beats her untill shes unconcious Mike its all my fault.." Billie Joe cried.
"Its not your fault Billie Joe! He would of done this anyway..Hes a drunken basterd..Hes done this to her before." Mike said sitting down beside Billie Joe.
"He was?" He said looking up.Mike nodded "She didnt want to tell you because she didnt want to hurt you Billie Joe....She cares so much about you its unreal dude!"
Just then Hayleys eyes opened." Billie Joe?" She sobbed trying to sit up.
"Im here baby...Im here"Billie Joe said taking Hayley into his arms. She held onto his t-shirt and sobbed, She cried and cried untill she had no tears left.
Mike had left the room and he went to see how Tre and Sara were."What happened?"Billie Joe said after they had both calmed down. She tensed up and sat up straight on his lap."He didnt mean to do it Billie..He was drunk and i brought it on..."She lied. Billie Joe's eyes widened and he moved her off his lap and stood up.
"Dont lie to me Lee! Im sick of you lying to me about him...Thats him talking right there...when are you going to tell me the truth!"He shouted.
"Im not lying!" She shouted back.This was the first proper fight they ever had.
"Please....Look Lee do you know the consequences of being with Mark huh? He could beat you anyday..What happens when he comes home and beats Sara? What if he rapes her? Will you stop lying then?" He shouted rubbing his hands in his hair."I care about you and her so much and i hate to see him hurting like this.." He said more calmly.
She looked up at him with tears in her eyes.He had tears in his own. She ran and hugged him and he held her close.
"Billie Joe im scared...If i leave him he will go after everybody i love and that includes you and i could never live with myself if he did anything to you because i love you so much!I will be ok....Dont worry about me" She said still holding him close.
"I love you too and if he ever does this to you again i will kill him" Billie Joe said sitting on her bed.
She got into bed and he put ice on her face.
"Look Mike and Tre are asleep in the spare beds im gonna go and crash on the couch" He whispered and kissed her cheek.He turned to walk out.
"You can stay here with me" She whispered and he got into bed with her.
He wrapped his arms around her and they fell asleep.
They were truly in love.....Mabey this was just a wake up call........
