The Life Of Three Very Green Men, chapter 8
Billie Joe seemed more distant than ever to both Mike and Tre oever the next few days, whitch was VERY distant! Most of the time they were not on stage of in bars, not that he had fun when they were in the bars, Billie sat in a quite corner of the bus playing his guitar as softly as possible and sining or mumbling to himself, occasionaly writing oh scraps of paper. He didnt write in a notebook because he thought it would be too easy for people to find and he was paranoid about that kind of stuff so he scribbled them on scraps then locked them away in his suitcase.
One day out of the blue he asked Mike and Tre if they could listen to this song and come up with sum bass and drum lines for it. He then launched into the song.... "I sit alone in my bedroom

Mike and Tre stared at him...
"Billie that was fucking awsum" said Mike
"no joke Billie Joe that was your best song to date!!!!" Tre yelled! Billie blushed and looked at his feet. Feeling incredibly self consious because both of them new who the song was about.
"so you guys like it"
"hell yeah!!!!" they said in unison. They worked out the other parts and had it ready for the next show. It was a big hit with the crowd, and Billie lossened up a bit more that night. While they were at the local bar, Tre off entertaing the women and Billie and Mike at the bar.
"Billie was there another song too, it seemed like you were playing two diferent melodies the other day?" Mike asked half exspecting Billie not to tell him.
"yeah but i dont wanna play it live yet, i wanna wait till shes there" Billie replied staring into space. He thought about her and when he wold see her again.
"well just tell us when you want us to start working up our parts ok"
"huh oh yeah i will" Billie ordered anothe drink befor becoming completely emersed in thought.
A few hoours later they were all back in the van. Mike was driving because they let Tre's dad go home, Tre himself was piss-ass drunk(usualy he was better about how much he drank), and Billie seemed out of it still. He softly hummen a melody that Mike found to be the most beautiful song musicaly, that he had herd Billie Joe write. HE wondered what the words were as he listened to Billie.
Billie thought over the words to the "mystery" song. "Will Adi like them? Dose she really love me? Of corse she dose she told me herself!!! STOP thinking that way Billie. His train of thought was jumbled and all of it had to do with Adirenne Nessar, the one girl he loved more than he had ever loved befor....his Adi....
