Green Day... In My Town!, chapter 1
Well, I wasn't able to go to the concert playing in my state, so I was bummed out. I was sitting in my room. (sulking) When I heard my doorbell ring, I thought it was probably my friend. So I went to the door, and guess who was there...Mike Dirnt! He told me that his bus broke down and he needed some help. I told him that my grandpa works on cars, but he wouldn't be able to get their bus fixed untill the next day.
"Okay..well, there's no hotels or anything in this town, so do you think we could stay at your house?" Mike asked.
I thought about it..having Green Day stay at my house?!?!?! "Of course you guys can stay at my house!" Just then Billie Joe and Tre' came around the corner. We all had a really nice conversation.
"Well, I'm sorry you had to miss our show. If you would like, we could play again soon in this town...maybe this week. We have all our instruments, so if you supply a stage, we could play for the town for free." Billie Joe said.
"Yea, I can do that!"
So, in the end, Green Day ended up playing their American Idiot songs with some other older songs for our town. I was so happy! Now, Tre', Mike, and Billie Joe are friends with me, and we talk regulary.
