1988, chapter 12
Maria finally found there class, and Billie Joe suggested they sit at the back Maria agreed. Billie Joe sat in his chair grinning from ear to ear
"BJ stop it, you look like a idiot" she giggled while the teacher wrote up names on the blackboard
"I'm just smiling". 15 minutes into the lesson Billie Joe was bored out of his brain and yet he felt on top of the world, so he rocked on his chair, watching Maria look up at the board and quickly write in her notebook, he smirked "watch this" he whispered to her and he ripped a blank page from his notebook, scrunched it into a ball and threw it at the guy in front of him. The guy flinched and turned around
"Fuck off you waster" he snapped, this made Maria stop what he was writing and giggle, Billie Joe smiled and did it again, this time guy didn't turn around he just stuck his finger up at Billie Joe, Maria was now holding her mouth trying to muffle her laughter. This time Billie Joe ripped out two pages and scrunched them together and threw it, but this time he threw t to hard and it went flying straight into the back of the teachers head, she stopped her writing on the blackboard and turned - glaring at the class. Maria could no longer controlling her laughter, she was laughing so hard her ribs were starting to hurt, Billie Joe just sat there smiling like he didn't do it -but the teacher knew better
"Mr. Armstrong please stop this nonsense I do not want a repeat of last year!"
"Okay" he smiled
"I can't believe you did that BJ" Maria whispered
"What do we have next?" he whispered back
"Well I have maths" Billie Joe once again fished through his bag to find his timetable
"Math's room 27?" she nodded "well there's more up my sleeve then" he smirked.
"I can't believe you did that Maria!" Billie Joe laughed as they headed to the Principals office
"Well I couldn't let you have all the fun, and I just had to smash the radio with the board of education" she smiled back
"First day back and your actual first day and we get sent to the principal's office... YOU'RE MY NEW REBEL!" he beamed
"it was a 'accident'". And they opened the office door and handed the receptionist the note Mr. Humphreys their math's teacher had gave them she told them to sit down quietly until she came back. Not long after they were called in together.
"What have you done this time Mr. Armstrong?"
"it wasn't on purpose Maria just fell I guess" and Billie Joe sat back in his chair putting his feet up on the principals desk
"Oh?" and he noticed Maria was sitting there "are you that new girl I met this morning?"
"Yes sir" she said innocently
"Hmmmm what happened exactly?" he said nicely, he was also a sucker for a sweet, well mannered girl.
So with Maria's sweet charm she told him that she volunteered to answer a math's question and because she couldn't reach the question she pointed to it with the teachers ruler, but she tripped and accidentally knocked Mr. Humphreys radio off the shelf and it smashed onto the floor, and as Mr. Humphreys had bent down to pick it up, and she was getting up off the floor from when she tripped over and she accidentally smacked ass with the ruler, Mr. Taylor sat there stunned
"he sent you here when you tripped over?" Maria nodded
"And my knee hurts from falling down" she pouted, Billie Joe just smiled at how good of an actress she was
"Well, Billie Joe can you take Maria to the nurse's office?"
"Sure Mr. Taylor but we need a hall pass"
"Oh of course" and he filled on out for them. Maria and Billie Joe exited the principal's office and the reception. As soon as they got down the hall they couldn't stop laughing
"Wow your fantastic!" Billie Joe smiled "if I said that he would have just given me detention for just lying!"
"Well I got into trouble a lot at my old school with Tre"
"Hey since we have a pass wanna leave? No ones home at my house and I wanna show you something"
"Show me something?", he nodded. They looked around "okay, let's go".
They snuck out of the school grounds and to the car park where Billie Joe's mum's car was parked; they got in and drove to Billie Joe's house.
"So what did you wanna show me?"
"Come to the garage" she followed him in and sat down on the sofa. He smiled at her and picked up 'Blue' "I wrote some songs for you... "
