Tre's Drum Lessons, chapter 10
RECAP
"Yeah..I've never felt like this before..it's amazing." I said.
"Well, I'm happy for you.." said Erin, in a sad tone.
"What's up?" I ask.
Erin starts crying.
"What' wrong?" I say again.
She wipes the tears from her face.
She manages to pull herself together to tell me what's wrong.

"...I really want a boyfriend, i'm so lonely. I see how you are with Tre, and you're so happy together." sobs Erin.
I hug her.
"Ohh Erin, it's alright. You just have to find the right guy. Remember my last boyfriends..total idiots..i never had the 'spark' with them like I do Tre, the right guy is out there for you, who will love you." I said.
"Thanks Danni" said Erin, wiping away her tears.
"Any time, i'm always here, remember that." I say.
Mike walks into the kitchen.
"Good Morning!" he yawns.
"Hey..whats wrong?" he asks.
"Oh nothing." answered Erin.
"I'm going outside for a smoke?..wanna come?" Mike asks Erin.
"Sure..I don't smoke though." replies Erin.
"That's ok.." sais Mike.
I walk back into the lounge room, and Billie, Ash and Nat are awake and quitely talking, while Tre is still sleeping.
"Good morning guys." I say quietly, careful not to wake up Tre.
"Good morning." they all answer.
I go and sit with them to join their converstaion. They're talking about guitars.
"Ok, I have no idea what you guys are talking about, so i'm gonna go lay down next to Tre." I laugh.
I crawl over to Tre, and lay down. He is so cute when he sleeps. Then, Billie sneezes.
"AAACHHHOOOO!" sneezes Billie. Tre's eyes open in shock.
"WHAAAT?!!" he screams.
"It's ok, Billie Joe just sneezed, go back to sleep." I whisper.
"What time is it?" he asks.
"10am" I reply.
"Nah, I think i'll just get up." he says.
I get up and open the curtains. The sky is blue and there's not one cloud in the sky.
"What a beautiful day!" yawns Tre.
"Yeah, lets not waste it.." said Billie.
"But whats there to do?" asks Ash.
"Is there anywhere we can go surfing?" asked Billie.
"Yeah, theres a surf beach down the road." replied Tre.
"Lets go surfing!" declared Nat.
"YEAH!" yelled Billie. Erin and Mike just walked inside and asked whats going on.
"We were thinking of going surfing...wanna come?" asked Ash.
"Yeah sure!"replied Erin and Mike.
"Do you wanna go surfing?" I asked Tre, with a bored expression on my face.
"Iv'e been wanting to go for a drive in the bust for a while..wanna go there instead, just me and you?" asked Tre.
"Yeah good idea...hey me and Tre are gonna go for a bush drive instead, we'll meet you at the beach later!" I exclaimed.
"Ok.....LETS GO!" yelled Ash.
We pack up the car and drive off..everyone else had already left for the beach.
We drive through a small town first, which comprises of a few shops, a police station and a hospital.
"Wow...look at that...oooh thats cool" said Tre, looking at all the wildlife as we drove through the bushland.
"Shit! We're running out of petrol!" declared Tre. I saw a sign saying next petrol station 1 kilometer away.
"Do you think we could make it?" I ask Tre.
"Yeah." he said, as he looked into the rear view mirror.
"Hey, whos that? He's been following us since the town." said Tre.
"Oh probably nobody, dont worry about it." I said, and shrugged.
We arrive at the petrol station, and Tre gets out of the car to put the petrol in. Then he goes inside to pay for it. I sit in the car and watch from the rearview mirror. The car that was following us parks infront of the petrol station. A guy gets out of the car and goes inside. I hear a scream and everyone inside lays of the floor. The only guy standing was the guy that was following us, and he's holding a gun...
He demands cash from the register, and the check out guy gives it to him.
I get out of the car and try to sneak into the petrol station from the back way, to try and stop the robber. I find a back door and go in. I'm behind the robber.
I spot Tre and he looks at me as if to say "Get out of here!" I shake my head.
I lift a big metal bar that I found outside the petrol station, and am about to clobber him over the head when he turns around. He grabs my arm and says
"What do you think you're doing you bitch?!".
Tre stands up and says "Don't you dare talk to her like that! Let go of her!".
"Oh yeah.." the robber says, and points the gun at Tre. He pulls the trigger, and at that moment, I jump infront of Tre.
The bullet drives into my chest and I fall to the ground. At that moment, the police come raiding in and shoot the robber dead.
**TRES POV**
I just stand there, holding Danni in my arms. She slowly manages to whisper "I love you, Tre Cool"
"I love you too..." I whisper. "Dont die". And then her eyes shut.
"Yeah..I've never felt like this before..it's amazing." I said.
