Love Is Just Too Much, chapter 1

(2.30 PM - Friday)
"Yes! Finally! The weekends! I'm so happy!" 17 year old Ashleigh Carlson said to herself in joy when her final period ended. And so does the school. 'Now, what am I supposed to do?' she asked herself. She stopped awkwardly in her tracks and think about something to do. 'This is just not right. It's the weekends and I don't have anything to do.' She said to herself. She decided to go home and think of something to do.
Since she doesn't have much friends, she doesn't always have a good weekend. Other kids from her school are calling her some emo kid, while some of them think she's a goth punk kid just because of the accesive eyeliners that she put on. She does wear all black but not always. She reached home where she practically hated her life. Her parents arent the supportive types. They didn't even like her clothing, her eyeliners, the music that she listens to. Practically everything.
Even her younger half sister, Janice thought she was a freak.
Ashleigh didn't care though. She doesn't care what other people might think of her. She's just Ashleigh. She's just a green eyed girl with red hair trying to fit into the world outside. And she have her own life. She wont let anyone control her life.
Ashleigh walked in her house. "I'm home." She said, not too loud, not too slow. She ruched uo the stairs to lock herself up in her room like she always did whenever she gets back from school. It's not even 1 week until the school closes. She swore to herself that she wont enter college. She would just sit around and play her guitar. 'Maybe...', she thought, 'I could form a band'.
She cant stand this. She needed some fresh air. She wanted to go out. Now.
She grabbed her stuffs (the essential ones, cellphone, money, stuffs like that). She decided to go over to Starbucks and just sit there for a little while.
She walked out of her room and later walked out of the house.

Ashleigh had bought herself a cup of ice blended cappucino. She is now sitting outside Starbucks. 'There's nothing better to do than this' she said to herself.
"Hey." Somebody said to her.
Ashleigh looked up and saw a guy with spiky reddish-brown hair with green eyes standing in front of her. "Hey." Ashleigh replied back.
"Is this seat taken, or what?" He said. Ashleigh shook her head and looked on as he took his seat in front of her. "Thanks. I cant believe Starbucks is crowded today."

(3 PM - Friday)
-Ashleigh's POV-
I nodded. I was amazed by this guy's looks. His face suited perfectly well with his green eyes and reddish brown hair. Not to mention his eyeliner. I mean, his face was just perfect!
"So, what are you doing here alone?" He asked me. "Waiting for boyfriend?"
I shook my head. "Nope. No boyfriend." I said.
He looked at me curiously. "Don't tell me a pretty girl like you don't have a boyfriend." He said. I shook my head. "You don't have a boyfriend or have you been ditched by somebody...old boyfriend?"
"No. I don't have and never had a boyfriend." I said. "Ever."
He laid back and took a sip of his drink. I did the same. "Weird." He said. "Oh, yeah. I'm Billie Joe Armstrong." He said as he held out his hand.
"Ashleigh Carlson." I said as I grabbed his hand and shook it.
"Are you always this quiet?" Billie asked me. "No offense, though."
I smiled. "Sometimes, yeah." I said. "I don't talk too much."
Billie shrugged. "Oh well. Wanna hang out with me sometimes? I mean, I get bored easily." He said. "And here comes the weekends. What do you think?"
I shrugged and nodded. "Yeah, sure."
