Love Is Just Too Much, chapter 8
(7PM)
-Ashleigh's POV-
I am currently in my apartment figuring out the clothes that I should wear for the band's gig. I decided to go for my black high cut converse shoes, my straight cut black jeans with my vans black tank top.
Wow, all black huh?
I grabbed my black eyeliner and smudged a line under my eye. That should be it. I grabbed my cell phone and rushed out of my apartment. I walked towards the club and arrived a couple of minutes later. The club was quite crowded. I mean, this is Green Day we're talking about. Of course the club would be crowded. Anyways, I made my way towards backstage.
I saw Billie leaning against the wall not far from me. I smiled. I slowly walked up to him. "Hey."
Billie turned and looked at me. He smiled instantly. "Hey." He replied back. He hugged me and planted a kiss on my lips. He break away and looked at me up and down. "Whoa, all black, huh?"
I nodded. "Yeah. I didn't know what to wear."
"Girl, you're perfect in everything you wear." Billie said.
I smiled and just looked at him. He was wearing a normal black t shirt with his trademark tight at the bottom jeans and his pair of converse low cut shoes.
Mike and Tre walked up towards us. "Hey there. Glad you made it." Mike said holding his bass guitar.
"I'm glad to be here, too." I replied.
Then, it's time for the band to perform. Mike and Tre walked up the stage first, leaving me and Billie behind. Billie wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close. "I'm going." Billie said. "Wait for me here, okay?"
I nodded. "Yeah." I said. Then, he leaned down and pressed his lips hard against mine. Then, he pulled away. "Now go. Good luck." I said.
He nodded and went up the stage.

-Nobody's POV-
The band performed spectacularly even if they were performing for just 100 and below crowd. They were pleased with all the reactions and support that they got from the crowd tonight. "Thanks for coming to our show!" Billie shouted at the crowd. "We'll see you again, assholes!" He said as Mike and Tre walked out of the stage followed by Billie.
"They were partying hard, huh?" Mike asked Billie and Tre. Tre nodded.
No, that's not improtant. At least for now. Billie needed to find Ashleigh. He aske dher to wait for him after the show here, backstage. But she was nowhere to be found. 'Where is she? '
"Dude, B. Are you still with us?" Tre asked.
"Yeah, yeah. You guys go first. I need to do something." He said as he left his bandmates behind.
He walked towards the crowd who were commenting about the band's performance. "Yo, you guys were the bomb!" somebody said to him. He smiled weakly and pushed towards the crowd and found Ashleigh sitting at the bar drinking. He walked up to her. "Hey. I thought you went back home."
She looked at him. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Billie." Ashleigh said as she placed her drink on the table. "I need to drink. I'm sorry."
Billie sit down beside her. "No, it's okay." He said before leaning in and kissed her softly.
Little did she know that the sluts in her school are watching from far...

-Ashleigh's POV-
Something weird is happening. Yeah. Weird. As if my life is not weird enough. People are watching and staring at me from morning. I mean, they don't usually do this. They usually ignore me completely since I was 'uncool' to be their friends. As if I want to be their friend.
I was sitting down in the school cafeteria eating something before going out for lunch when somebody came up to me.
"Hey. You're Ashleigh, right?" He asked.
I looked up at him. He was this nerd, geeky guy with glasses. He was wearing this checkered buttoned shirt with a baggy pants and some worn out shoes. "Yeah. Who's looking for me?" I asked him.
He shook his head. "Nobody's looking for you." He said. "I'm Cory Adams." He said as he held out his hand. I grabbed his hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you."
I nodded. "Yeah, nice to meet you too." I said politely. But I cant be here too long. I'm so hungry. I needsomething to eat. "Hey, I'm going out to eat. Wanna tag along?" I asked him.
"If you don't mind..." He said.
"Well, then, come along."
