Love Is Just Too Much, chapter 9

(12 PM - Wednesday)

-Billie's pov-

I shoved my hand in my jeans pocket and walked towards a fine diner where Ashleigh and I decided to meet and have our lunch together. It's called Wendy's Diner. I was tired and still sleepy so I didn't have the time to check what time it is. Now that I remembered about it, I glanced to take a look at the time.

12. 10 PM

Am I late or early? I don't care... At least I can meet her.
I slowly towards Wendy's and saw the back of her head. I entered the diner and noticed that there's another guy sitting in front of her.
Okay, I'm not the jealous type of guy but I suddenly feel kinda tight. I mean, with the sight of my girlfriend sitting and talking to another guy which is a total stranger to me. I still remember she said that she didn't have any friends.
I walked up to her still looking at that stranger. "Hey." I said softly.
She looked up at me and smiled. "Hey, B." She said.
She scooted in and I sat down beside her before leaning in and gave her a quick kiss on her lips. I looked at the stranger who was looking at me curiously. "So, who's this guy?" I asked.
She looked at the guy for a second and looked back at me. "Oh, Billie, this is Cory. Cory this is Billie Joe." She said. I nodded at Cory.
"Hey, you're the one who performed last night, right?" Cory asked. "You're in the band Green Day!" He said excitedly.
I nodded and smiled a bit. "That's right, dude." I said. "So, how did you two met?"
"Oh, we met a few minutes ago." Cory explained. I looked at him curiously. "Hey, hey. I'm not here trying to steal your girl, okay? Don't worry about it. I just wanna be friends with her." He said. 'Yeah right. The next thing I know, you're gonna end up sleeping in the same bed with my girlfriend. ' I thought to myself.
I looked on as Cory talked about their school. It's not something very interesting to talk about as I was getting really bored.
"So, Ash, do you mind, going for the prom with me?" Cory asked Ashleigh. I immediately sat up straight and stared right at Cory. I raised one of my eyebrows.
I noticed Ashleigh looked at me and looked at Cory back. "I, um, sorry. I'm not going for the prom." Ashleigh said. She grabbed my hand from under the table. "Billie and I have other plans for the night. Right, billie?"
She looked at me and I look at her back. I nodded as I squeeze her hand. "Yeah. We have plans." I said coldly.

(8PM)

-Nobody's POV-

Ashleigh and Billie were hanging out at Billie's apartment for the night as they decided to hang out a little while. "You know, that Cory guy is weird." Billie said to Ashleigh as he and Ashleigh watched the TV. There's nothing on the TV right now. But they needed something to do. That left them with TV.
"Why's that so?" Ashleigh asked.
"Well, he met you a couple of hours ago in your school and suddenly he followed you for lunch." Billie said as he wrapped his arms around Ashleigh's shoulder. "And, he asked you to be his date for your school's prom. Isnt that weird?"
Ashleigh shrugged. "I guess." She said. Then, she slowly look at Billie and smiled.
"What?"
"I know." Ashleigh said as she stood up. "Omg, Billie. You're just jealous."
Billie denied. "I am not." He said. "You made that up."
"Yes, you are, Armstrong. You're just plainly jealous!"
Billie shrugged. "Okay, fine." He finally admitted. "I was jealous. A bit." Ashleigh cracked up laughing. "Okay, you can stop laughing now." Billie said. But Ashleigh didn't stop. Billie gave up and he grabbed Ashleigh's hand and pulled her closer to him. Ashleigh stopped laughing and now she was smiling in his arms.
"You know I won't go with anybody else." She said as she wrapped her arms behind Billie's neck. "I will and always go with you."
Billie smiled and kissed Ashleigh's cheek lightly. "I'm glad to hear that." Billie said. "And, just for the record, I won't go out with anybody else besides you." Billie said before he leaned in and gave Ashleigh one deep, hard kiss.
