Troubled Times, chapter 8
I stood there for a second. I could tell they were all watching me and waiting for me to say something.
"Wow...." I couldn't think of anything else to say, I was in shock. Mike grabbed me and embraced me in a powerful hug. I think I heard him start to cry and then felt a tear hit my shoulder.
"I'm so happy I finally get to meet you!" Mike said between sobs.
"Wow, never thought someone would actually want to meet me." I laughed. Mike laughed too and wiped the tears off his face.
"Sorry." He apologized. "I'm just, well this is a great day for me."
"Yeah me too." I smiled and hugged my new brother again.
"Hey guys, we better uh... Get out of here... " Billie Joe told us.
"But why--" Tre began but Billie Joe cut him off by pointing. The bastards from my school were suddenly coming toward us, with really angry expressions.
I jumped and slip across the hood of my car in a attempt to get in fast. The rest of the guys hopped in on the other side and I backed out like a bat outta hell.
"Wow, you really can drive." Tre said from his back seat.
"Oh.. Thanks.. I raced it at the track a few times." I said turning a little red.
"Wow.. You raced it! That's awesome!" Tre added in full of enthusiasm, making me feel better.
"So.. Uh.. Where do you guys want to go?" I asked them.
"ICE CREAM!" Tre shouted.
"TRE YOU JUST HAD ICE CREAM!" Billie Joe shouted back.
"WAL*MART!" Tre shouted again.
"Walmart?" I asked everyone else.
"WALMAR YES! WALMART!" Tre kept yelling.
"DO WHATEVER HE WANTS! I WANT HIM TO SHUT UP!" Billie Joe screamed.
Tre instantly shut his mouth, and grinned, huge, over to Billie Joe. Then out of no where Tre started kissing Billie Joe all over. Mike and me burst out laughing as Billie Joe was cussing his head off for Tre to get off him.
After a car ride that seemed it would never end, we reached the walmart parking lot. Tre jumped out of the car super fast and found an empty shopping cart.
Tre was trying to situate himself in the shopping cart while Billie Joe was getting ready to run up to the cart and push Tre.
"Ready Billie Joe!?" Tre shouted.
"Yep!" Billie Joe shouted back. He ran toward the carts and pushed it as hard as he could, Tre went flying in the car. Meanwhile.. A car was backing out right in front of where Tre was heading.
