Just Another Green Day Story (With a Twist), chapter 1

"See ya in a couple of weeks" he said to us.
"We're gonna miss you honey" my mom replied, hugging him. They kiss and my little brothers start giggling. I roll my eyes.
"Hey! Don't I get a hug?" asks one of my dad's best friends, Tre, "Won't anyone miss me?"
"Oh yeah Tre, we're really gonna miss you drinking all my dad's fucking beer" I reply sarcasticly"
"Don't worry Kellie, Just because he's not at our house doesn't mean he's not gonna drink my beer. Right Tre?"
"He He, that was an invatation" Tre replies.
"Shame Bill, You're in it now!" my dad's other best friend, Mike says to him.
"Attention Billie Joe and Mike you're flight is ready to board" Tre says, pretending to be the loudspeaker.
"For once, Tre's actually right" Mike says. Everyone says goodbye one last time. My mom's crying. I put my arm around her.
"Only a few weeks" I say.
We watch my dad and his two friends go through Departures. He turns around and waves at us.
"Bye dad!" My 8 year old brother Jakob shouted.
My mom picked him up and waved too.
