A New Beginning, chapter 7
***Melissa's POV***
***Friday night***
"Hey Joey. Is the party like fancy or like casual or what?" I asked sitting on the couch.
"It's like a record release (we'll just pretend the conicals of life and death just came out.) casual house party. So just like whatever you want to wear would be fine." he said cuddling me. "You look hot no mater what you wear."
"Thanks. Well I better go and ready I guess." I said as I managed to get free of Joeys grasp.
"Hmm I think I'll wear my MADE skirt and my Level 27 shirt." I said to myself as I dug them out of my closet. I quickly threw them on and redid my make-up. It took me about half an hour to flip out my layers but they looked good in they end. I put my pick necklace on and my runners just as Joey came to get me.
"Wow you look hot." he said staring at me.
"You don't look half bad your self." I said as I closed the door.
"Dad's gonna drive us o.k.?"
"Sure that would be awesome." I said climbing into the car. We soon arrived at the house. More like a mansion were the party was at.
"By kids. You can get drunk just no drugs kay." said Billie from the car.
"Yep by dad see ya later." Joey said as we waved to him while running up to the house.
***Benji's POV***
DING DONG
"Joel get the door." I yelled.
"No I got it last time you get it." he yelled back.
"Fine." I said as I went to answer the door.
"Hey you must be Billie's kid Joey and his girl Melissa. Melissa you seem very familiar to me." I said as I let them in. I noticed something on a gold chain. It was a guitar pick. It looks like the kind I use. Then I noticed something scribbled on it. It was my signature. "Now I remember you." I said as I gave her a huge hug. "You were the one that stayed with us for a bit while you're 'rents sorted things out 2 years back."
"Ya I was now can you pleas let go of me. I can't breath." she said.
"Oh sorry. So what brings you out here?"
"Well my mom got transferred over here but she's gone on business and my dad died on Sunday so ya." she said. Knowing it was a touchy subject I just stayed away from it.
"I see. Well later tonight would you wanna play a song with us? I'm sure the rest of the guys would love to see you again." I said before I headed off to tell the guys.
***Melissa's POV***
"You never told me you know Benji." Joey said as soon as Benji left.
"You never asked." I giggled. "Lets go and get a beer." I said as he followed me over to the cooler. After our first one I decided to go and find Benji and play a song right now before we got piss drunk. "I'm gonna go and find Benji and play a song right now before we or them get to drunk." I said as I headed off to find Benji. I quickly found Benji. "Hey Benji."
"Hey. You wanna play that song now?"
"Ya."
"Kay what song you wanna play?"
