Sequel to Friends Forever!, chapter 10
Jakob was lying in his hospital bed when Billie Joe came in. "Jake" Billie Joe said as he sat on the edge of the bed. "How you doing?". But Jakob wouldn't answer.
He just stared at the blank wall and only blinked when he couldn't keep his eyes open much longer.
"Please talk to me... I love you dude and your really scaring me" Billie said as tears came to his eyes.
"I need her dad... I need her so much." Jakob cried and Billie Joe hugged him tight.
"I know.. I know" He said to Jakob who was now pouring his heart out against Billie Joe.
"Have they found her yet?" Jakob asked and Billie Joe shook his head.
"I need to be out there too looking for her dad!" Jakob shouted and Billie Joe let a tear escape his eyes. He hated seeing Jakob like this.
"You cant... Your not well enough!" Billie Joe started but Jakob stopped him.
"I am fucking well enough! I'm the only one who can help... And I'm cooped up in here... I need to find the one girl I love before its to late" Jakob screamed and Billie Joe nodded.
"Look the police want to talk to you... You can ask them if you can help?" Billie Joe asked getting up from the bed. Jakob sighed and looked up at Billie.
"Dad will you stay with me while the police are here... I need you" Jakob said and Billie smiled." Yeah."
"So tell me the story of what happened?" Sargent Smith asked and Billie Joe took Jakobs hand as the tears started to fall out of his eyes.
"We were walking from the Diner... And we were holding hands.. Something hit Lauren from behind and she fell to the floor.. I looked around and there was two men, I tried to fight them off but they hit me... They threw me in the van and one of them picked Lauren up and threw her in the abck of the van also... They caught her leg in the door and it snapped.. Thats all that happened until we arrived at the cabin." Jakob said as tears poured from his eyes.
"And what happened at the cabin?" The other police officer asked when he had finished writing down what Jakob had just said.
"They opened the door and one of them pulled me out... I tried to fight back and I punched him and told the other one to let go of Lauren... One held Lauren back while the other one beat me up... They dragged Lauren inside and then continued to beat me up... When they finally brought me inside I saw Lauren tied to a bed and I was then tied to a chair with my back facing Lauren..."
"I talked to her for a minute and told her everything would be ok... I think I then passed out because I woke up to hear Lauren screaming.. I... I think one of them raped her and then he fell asleep and I managed to get out of my ropes. I walked over to Lauren but she told me to go ahead and leave her because she couldn't walk.. I said I would be right back but I shouldnt of left her.. I should of stayed!" Jakob screamed.
"You did the right thing son because you are a great help now and we will do the best to help and find Lauren"...
