Sequel to Friends Forever!, chapter 11
"Ok Jakob if you can stand up and walk to the door and back, You can go with your friends and the police to find Lauren..." The doctor said and Jakob stood up from his bed. He tripped a little bit and Billie Joe went to catch him.
"Leave it dad... I'm ok." He said and got back up.
He shakily walked to the door and back.
"Ok that's fine now can you feel any pain?" The doctor asked and Jakob shook his head.
"I'm fine.. Way better than yesterday. So can I go?" He asked praying that the docter would say yes.
"Yeah I don't see why not... Get dressed and you can leave!" The doctor said and smiled. Billie Joe nodded and went over to him.
"Thanks so much Doctor..." Billie Joe said and shook his hand.
The doctor smiled and left Billie Joe to help Jakob get dressed and go and find Lauren.
"Hey dude.." Tre said and walked beside Jakob.
Everyone was out looking for a track or something that would lead them to the cabin that Lauren was being held in.
"Hey." Jakob replied and Tre put his arm around him.
"You know I lost my dog once..." Tre said and Jakob smirked at him.
"And that's got to do with this because?" Jakob said and Tre laughed.
"I'm just saying... The person... Or dog... You love you will always find them or they will always come home... I mean back!" Tre said and Jakob knew he was only trying to make him feel better.
"Thanks Tre." Jakob said and Tre lifted his arm from around him.
"Its no problem kiddo..." He said and walked off to were Katy was walking.
"I found something!" One of the police men shouted and everyone rushed over.
There was footprints, Probably from Jakob or one of the men.
"I remember this place from the other night... This way!" Jakob said and limped through some trees and gasped at what he saw behind another wall.
Smoke...
He ran as best as he could and passed more trees. He jumped over a little river and through more trees.
Thats when he saw it... The cabin was on fire...
"No!" He screamed and Mike did his best to hold him back from running in.
Billie Joe took off his jacket and held it over his mouth and he ran into the smoking house.
"Billie!" Jenny screamed and held onto Sanne's hand tighter.
Where was he? Come on out Billie! But there was nothing...
Just then Billie Joe appeared out of the house and he collapsed to the floor coughing.
"Dad" Jakob screamed and pulled out of Mike's grasp. "Dad" He said again but more quieter.
"I'm so sorry Jakob" Billie Joe said...
