Sequel to Friends Forever!, chapter 13
"Lauren!" Jakob yelled and ran over to the door that had just been slammed shut.
He banged on it and then he rested his head up against it.
"Lauren..." He whispered as tears came to his eyes. Was it really her? It definatly had to be.
Jakob walked back across the road and sat down on the bench in the park again.
He waited for another hour until Lauren came out by herself.
"Lauren!" Jakob yelled and Lauren looked up at him. She looked upset.
"Jakob be quite..." She said walking over to him. "Wha- I thought you were dead... Oh my god" Jakob managed to say. He was so upset and confused. "I know.. I know... I'm under the witness protection unit.." She said quitely and Jakob looked shocked.
"What why?" He said and then he realised the answer. "Because of what happened Jake... I found out his name and I got away.. Now he's after me.." Lauren said and then she smiled at Jakob. "I've missed you..." She said and touched his arm but Jakob pulled away.
"Why didnt you call me? I spent the last five years thinking you were fucking dead... I thought you were dead!" He yelled at her and she looked down.
"I was so afraid Jakob and I'm so sorry.." She cried and Jakob felt tears coming down his cheeks.
Lauren nor Jakob had noticed that it had started raining.
"I thought you were dead! Do you even realise why I'm here in fucking New York?" Jakob yelled and Lauren shook her head.
"I was going to fucking kill myself!" He shouted. "I havent been the same since you disapeared... I blamed myself!".
Lauren cried harder and wrapped her arms around herself.
Jakob turned to walk away and Lauren sobbed harder.
"Jake please wait... Don't go.. I need you... I was about to tell you something when that guy hit me.. I was about to tell you that I love you... I still do.." Lauren cried and Jakob stopped.
He turned around and walked back to her. Wrapping his arms around her he held her close to his soaking jacket.
Jakob leant down and kissed Lauren passionatly while pulling him closed to him.
Pulling away he stared into her eyes.
"I love you too... I love you so much!" He cried and kissed her again.
When they had finished he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and started to walk back to his apartment with the one girl that he would ever love...
