An Old Friend, chapter 3

Billie Joe pounded on the door...
Adrienne answers it....

Adrienne-what the hell do you what?

Billie Joe-can we talk?

Adrienne- oh.. so you really think that you can come here and pretend that everything is ok?...well its not ok!...I can't believe you did this to me?....Just leave!

Adrienne attemps to close the door but Billie Joe extends his hand to stop it.

Billie Joe-I don't know what happend that night...But whatever I did I'm soo sorry!!...I love you!

Adrienne-How could you do this to me?....I trusted you!

Adrienne raises her hand, with anger, but before she could slap him, Billie Joe grabs her and pulls her in for a hug. Adrienne quickly pulls away and pushes Billie Joe to the ground.

Adrienne-I hope you know what you did to me!

She slams the door shut.

Billie Joe gets up from the ground and walks to the car. As hes getting in the car he sees 2 little boys in the second floor window staring down at him.

Jakob- Why is daddy going away?

Adrienne- He's just going on a long business trip...

Billie Joe goes around town, and finally makes a stop at Never Fail Cafe, Mike's resturant.

Mike-Hey how you doing, Billie Joe?

Billie Joe- eh...Not so good, me and Adie are in a fight...and I've never seen her so upset.

Tre- I'd be upset too, if I were her.

Billie Joe- God...I don't even remember what I did!

Mike- Well...that explains why..

Tre-Probably cause you were soo drunk.

Billie Joe-Well.. what did I do anyway?

Mike- Well....
