A Lucky Bet, chapter 4
As they walked closer, I knew there was nothing to worry about, it was just Mike and Tre'....wait.....OH MY GOD!! MIKE and TRE'!
"Oh my god! I can't belive it! wow! It's actually you..I." But before I could say another word, Mike quickly said, "Hi."
"Uh Hi, I'm Meghan Conley." I said.
"Hey, you're that girl that helped our buddy, Billie!" Tre exclaimed.
"Yah, Billie was talking about you." Mike added.
"Oh its not that big of a deal..I-" But once again, I was interrupted.
"So whatcha doing here anyway?" Tre aksed.
"Yah, we were just heading up to Billie's house, wanna come?" Mike said.
"Well, I really need to get going." I said
"NONSENSE!!' Tre yelled
"Well..." Tre gave me the most cutest and innocent look I had ever seen.
I thought, ' How could I say no to that face!'
"Ok, I'll come".
Tre skipped up to the gate and pressed the button next to the name, Armsrtong. But no one answered, so he tried again, and again and again and basically almost broke the button.
"Why won't you work, damn button?! Tre yelled
Mike started to pull Tre' away form the gate. "Tre! Your gonna break the damn thing!"
I started to laugh. Mike pressed the button, "See Tre', its all in the wrist!
"Show off!" Tre' said.
"Hello?" a voice said, coming from the speaker.
"Yah, hey, Its me and Tre, and a guest," he flashed me a quick smile, "Can we come in?"
"Yah, sure!" the voice said, and the gates opened.
Tre ran up to the gates and squeezed his way through before the gates opened all the way. We just wacthed him run around like a wild animal.
"Is he always this hyper?" I asked.
"Sadly yes...I don't know why, but, sadly yes." he anwsered.
As we walked up the driveway I saw a really awesome car, it looked like one of those old fashioned vehicles, it was really cool. When we approched the front door, I saw two kids racing to the door, through the window.
"Hi uncle Tre', hi uncle Mike!" The oldest one said.
"Hey kiddos" Tre said, rubbing both of the kids heads.
"Hey guys!" I heard a voice coming from upstairs, so I looked up and it was Billie.
"Oh hey Meghan!"
"Hey nice place you got here!" I said. H
is house was huge! Right when you walked in on your left was the living room then in front of you was a spiral staircase that went upstairs and if you kept on going straight you'd be in the kicthen.
"Oh this old dump, yah I guess its pretty nice." he said laughing.
"Jakob...Joey! What are you doing up so late, its past midnight!" he said. He picked up Jakob and took Joey's hand and walked them upstairs to bed.
Tre ran into the living room and jumped on the couch, Mike walked over to an empty chair and sat down. I sat down next to Tre' on the couch. We all waited for Billie to come back downstairs, I looked up and there Billie was standing right behind me.
"You guys want anything to drink?" He asked.
"Yah, the usual" Tre replied.
"Yah, I'll have some coffee." Mike added
"Ok, I'll go get the drinks" Billie said.
"Hey Meghan, wanna help me in the kitchen?"
" Sure." I got up and walked into the kitchen, I sat down on one of the bar stools.
"Listen, I just wanted to thank you for the other day, I know it doesn't seem that big of a deal to you, but without, I probably wouldn't be here. You see the reason that guy was threaten me was, well, I owed him some money... ok a lot of money, try 2 million dollars."
"What?!" I yelled
"Shhhh! They're gonna hear us! Billie said.

" Jeeze whats all that yelling about?" Mike asked Tre.

"Well you might get it if I tell you the story from the beginning." Billie said.
"Yah that might help a little." I said.
"Well, I went to the local bar, like I always did, but this time, I didn't go with Mike or Tre', they were busy, but anyways, I must have gotten a little drunk, cause next thing I knew it, I owed this guy 2 million bucks. I don't know how, I could have backed into his car or made a bet with him, but all I know is that this guy is after me... no joke."
".....Oh...MY...GOD!.." I yelled again
"Uhhh..did you not just hear me?...SHH!!!" he yelled.
Me and Billie walked out of the kicthen and into the living room with the drinks.
"What was that all about?" Mike asked
"What was what all about?" Billie said with a smile on his face.
"Wait...what happened? What about what now? Dammit! I'm confused!!" Tre said confusd.
"Nothing, it was nothing." I said
"Ok, well me and Tre' are gonna head home, you need a ride home, Meghan?"
"Nah, I'm gonna walk home." I said
