Strange Things Are Happening, chapter 10
Mike shook his head and looked at the Tree again. This time, the person was gone.
"I'm just seeing things," thought Mike.
"MIKE!" yelled Billie, "Did you hear me?"
Mike jumped and looked over, "What? No, what did you say?"
"I said, 'What should we do? Our driver's dead, we're in some graveyard, and our phones are dead! '"
Then, there was a knocking on the bus door.
All three men looked over at the door. Looking in the through the window was the same person that Mike had seen at the tree. This time, Mike could see that it was a girl. Her skin was deadly pale, she had deep black marks all over her body, and her skin was stretched tight against her bones.
"What do you want?" asked Tre, nervously.
"You boys are in for some trouble," she said with a hollow voice.
"What kind of trouble?" Mike inquired, softly.
"The kind of trouble where you die, boy. You all are going to die tonight."
Then, just like that, she was gone.
"Do you think she was being serious?" questioned Billie.
Tre shrugged.
Mike looked out the window again. This time, he didn't need to focus...
There were tons of people that had the same look as the girl walking towards the bus.
"G-G-Guys?..." stuttered Mike.
Billie and Tre turned to face Mike. They didn't respond to his question, they knew exactly what he was talking about.
"I'm just seeing things," thought Mike.
