The War of the Bands (rated PG-13), chapter 1
Intro (During intro, picture American Idiot playing in the backround)
Well, every day is the same old thing for Danny Roberts. A normal 7th grader skate punk. Wake up, get dressed, eat, and get your butt to school. Get yelled at for being late by your homeroom teacher, go to math, and get yelled at more. Treasure every moment he is in the same room as the popular girl, Racheal Taylor. The beautiful, funny, and well, popular Rachel Taylor. There isn't one boy in the 7th grade that doesn't have a crush on this girl. Rachel probably knows that by now. Danny sure as hell knows that, and wishes it wasn't true.
I mean every time Danny tries to talk to her so many thoughts race through his head, "No you stupid idiot, you can't talk to her, just walk away, walk away right now." Of course in the end, he'll end up stuttering, and running away leaveing this very thought in Rachel's mind, "What an idiot."
"Oh well," he thinks, "I'm never gonna get the chance anyway."
Now on the other hand, Billie Joe, as in Billie Joe Armstrong, wakes up, gets dressed, eats, and watches cartoons with his kids every morning he's at his house for a day or more. He has the love of his life, Adrienne (Nesser) Armstrong. He couldn't ask for more. Plus, he has an awsome 3 story house that he worked very hard to get. Every day rocks for Billie Joe.
"OH MY GOD!!! Mom! Mom! Mom! Green Day's coming to Denver!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to go to the concert! Mom PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Danny came screaming out of his room.
Confused, his mom said, "Wait, Denver's going to who's concert?"
"Ohhhh.... Mom please." Danny said in a groan.
"Ok, ok, ok. Let me see what I can do. How much is the ticket?"
"75 bucks each." he said in a rush
"$75! No way! I'm sorry honey, but we just can't afford it right n.."
Danny's dad came busting through the door, "I GOT A 40% RAISE!!!!!"
His dad worked in the financial industry.
At the same time Danny said, "YES!" his mom said, "What?"
"Honey we are set for life. Well, at least the next year." His dad said.
"Does that mean I can go to the concert?!"
"Sure son!" Walt, Danny's dad, said.
"Walt! I don't think you've thought this through."
"Sure I did, Lorrie."
"Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Danny screamed and ran to his room to call his friends, Chris, and Justin.
At Billies house, the phone rang and Jakob answered it, "Jakob's Slotter Farm, You bring em we ding em!"
"Hello, Mr. Billie Joe Armstrong?" the person on the phone said.
"Oh. Dad phone!" Jakob gave his dad the phone.
"Hello." Billie said as if it was any other crazzed fan call.
"Hello, Mr. Armstrong. This is the record company. We have a suprise concert on the list now. In Denver, Colorado on September 1st."
"K, whatever. Thanks."
Meanwhile at Rachel's house...
"No way!" Rachel said to her friend while lying on her bed on her stomach, with her head to the foot of the bed.
Her friend, Whitney, was telling her about how she saw the principal, Mr. Ratskin, after school run into the pole and have his pants fall down. Whitney was sitting on the floor of Rachel's room looking at a SKATER BOYZ ZINE.
so far for the people things are looking pretty good
