A Dream Come True, chapter 1
"OH MY GOSH!!" Kelsie screamed down the phone to her best friend Emily.
"You'll never guess what!!!"
"What is it!" Emily replied, Emily was really excited, cause she just knew some good news was on its way.
"What you doin' saturday night?" Kelsie asked, she was speaking so fast Emily could hardly make her out.
"Ummm nuthin' why'd you ask?" she said
"Well you are now, don't make any plans, cause we're going to see Green Day!" Emily dropped the phone, and went silent, she couldn't believe what she had just heard. She was going to see Green Day! The band she absolutely adored, the band who had got her through so many hard times, the band who had helped her when she was depressed, she started to cry. She then remembered Kelsie was on the phone, she picked it up.
"Hey, sorry about that, I'm just so happy that I'm finally seeing the band I love, and I'm gonna be doing it with my best friend"
"Hey it's cool sweetie," Kelsie replied, "My mom will pick you up at 6 tommorow night k? Be ready, we're gonna have a blast!" and with that they both hung up the call.
Emily wiped away the tears from her eyes, and walked over to her CD player, she put on her favourite green day song.......
"Today's the Macy's Day parade
The night of the living dead is on it's way
With a credit report for duty call" Emily sung along, she was so happy.
She walked downstairs to tell her mom the news. they chatted for a while, then Emily started to feel a little tired, so she got changed into her pajamas, hopped into bed and closed her eyes, all she could think about was Green Day, and how great tommorow night was gonna be, she was dreaming about meeting the band. She adored Billie Joe Armstrong, Emily suffered from anxiety and had severe panic attacks, and the one thing that could always calm her down was Billie-Joe's voice, whenever she heard it, she felt so at peace with everything. The next morning Emily woke up at 12 noon, she immediately ran downstairs yelling at the top of her voice, "I'm gonna see Green Day tonight!!!" her mom hadn't seen her this happy in ages, it felt good to see her like that.
The day dragged on so slowly and Emily was tired of waiting, she was all ready to go, she had on a pair of blue baggy jeans, and a black strappy american idiot t shirt, she had a pair of Vans on, and her long brown hair was flowing down her back. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door.
"OH MY GOSH that will be Kelsie!!" she screamed. she ran to the door and hugged her.
"You all ready to go chick?" Kelsie said.
"Hell yeah!" Emily replied "Bye mom!!" she yelled, slamming the door behind her. Her mom laughed, she knew Emily wouldn't have given her the chance to say goodbye. It seemed like days that Emily and Kelsie were in the car, but when they finally arrived at the Glasgow SECC they leapt out the car and slammed the doors behind them.
"Kelsie Richards!! Get back here right this instant young lady" yelled Kelsie's mom.
"Now I want the both of you to stay together at all times, and no drink and no boys!" she said giving them a stern look.
"Yeah yeah yeah ok mom" kelsie said.
"Thanks for the lift" said Emily.
"You're welcome hunny," she replied, "At least you have some manners, now you two run along and have a great time!" finally Kelsie's mom drove away.
"Thank the lord!" said Kelsie "I thought she'd never leave!"
Kelsie and Emily had arrived way too early as the concert wasn't due to start for another 2 hours, but they got there in perfect time to avoid the ques. They ran into the hall, and made their way to the front of the stage, they were the only ones in the whole hall and it felt amazing.
"Just think Kelse!" screamed Emily, "Green Day are in this room!"
Kelsie looked as if she could faint, "Oh my gosh I know, that is so exciting!" she yelled.
All of a sudden they heard footsteps on the stage.
"I wonder who that is" Emily said.
"Probably just some sound guy" Kelsie said. They both looked up, and Emily just about leapt with joy
"It's...ittsss...itttsss..."she couldnt finish the sentence
"It's Billie Joe, pleased to meet you what's your name?" he jumped down from the stage and stood in front of Emily.
"I'm..I'm ummm" Emily felt so embarrased.
"She's Emily!" Kelsie butted in, "And I'm Kelsie, it's so amazing to meet you, you rock!"
"Pleased to meet you Kelsie and emily, you wanna come and hang backstage?" Emily thought she would faint.
"Hell yeah!!" Emily blurted out.
"Oh so you do have a voice after all!" Billie Joe said.
Emily giggled, she stared into Billie Joe's eyes, they were beautiful, she wished she could tell him how hot she thought he was, but she was just too shy. he lead the three of them to their dressing room. They walked in and Tre was sitting on the couch with Mike, they were play fighting, it made Emily giggle.
"Hey guys, this is Kelsie and Emily, they're gonna hang with us before the show"
"Ooohh great" said Tre, you found us some hotties! Wait there's only 2 of them! Now we'll have to share!"
Emily and Kelsie burst out laughing, Tre was so funny.
"Hey I'm Mike" said Mike giving them a wave. Emily wanted to scream she couldn't believe she was hanging out with Green Day.
"So...what do you guys wanna do? Why don't you tell us a bit about yourselves" said Billie Joe.
Emily and Kelsie sat down next to Billie Joe.
"Well I'm Kelsie, I'm 18..Emily is my best friend of 10 years, I play drums and I love Green Day!"
"Nice! You play drums? That's awsome!" replied Tre "there's a kit next door, wanna jam?"
"Sure!!" Kelsie screamed, and she walked out with Tre.
"I'm gonna go laugh at Tre's baaaaad flirting skills" said mike.
"Catch up with you two bitches later" and Mike followed Kelsie and Tre
"Soooo... looks like it's just me and you then" said Billie Joe.
Oh how long emily had dreamed of hearing those words.
"Yup" she said shyly.
"Hey, relax!" said Billie Joe, why you so shy?!"
"Oh I'm sorry," she said, "It's just that well...I kinda like you alot, I have anxiety and really severe panic attacks, and you kinda helped me get through my anxiety, so I s'pose I always wanted to meet you, I've dreamed of this for so long, I s'pose I wanna say thank you...I love you." Emily went bright red.
"Aaww thats sweet, I'm glad I have helped, I have anxiety too y' know so I understand how hard it is." Emily smiled.
Billie Joe put his arm around her and pulled her in closely, he had a firm grip that made her melt, she was weak at the knees.
"So...love life?" he said, "You got a boyfriend?"
"Nah," she replied, "We broke up, he cheated on me with one of my friends." Billie Joe looked shocked!
"The bastard!" he yelled, "Cheating on a beautiful girl like you!"
Emily's heart felt like it would jump out her mouth.
"Thanks" she said shyly.
"It's ok, he said, "I'm finding it hard getting over mine and Adrienne's break up, but it's for the best, it's better in alot of ways, y' know, like for the boys"
"Yeah.." Emily replied, "I never actually knew about that, I'm sorry to hear"
"Hey its cool," he replied, "Like I said it's for the best."
They both went silent. They could hear laughing from next door.
"Sounds like Tre and Kelsie are havin' a blast" said Billie Joe, he's probably chatting her up!" Emily giggled
"Yeah well I'm sure Kelsie won't object to that, she's in love with Tre!" Billie Joe laughed.
"So what member of Green Day are you in love with then?" he nudged her and winked.
Emily went red. "Umm...you" she replied more shyly than ever.
"YES!!" Billie Joe replied, "I was worried you'd say Mike!" Emily giggled.
"Wanna go out back for a while?" Billie-joe asked, "It's a nice night, we could go sit by our tour bus"
"Yeah sure" Emily said with a smile.
They walked through a set of double doors and then outside.
Emily shivered.
"You cold sweetie?" he asked sounding concerned.
"Yeah just a bit" she said.
"Here have this" Billie Joe took off his jacket and put it round Emily's shoulders.
"Thanks," she said with a smile.
They walked towards the band's tour bus and all of a sudden Emily felt this tight grip on her hand.
She couldn't believe it, she was walking hand in hand with Billie Joe Armstrong and it wasn't a dream!
"Wanna come inside?" he said pointing at the bus.
"Yeah why not?" Emily said.
They walked up the 4 steps to the tour bus.
"WOW" Emily said, "this place is awsome!"
Billie-Joe smiled, "Yeah its cozy, I'm glad you like."
They sat down on the sofa. Billie Joe was holding Emily's hand and gazing into her big brown eyes. They both looked at each other and looked away, Billie Joe touched Emily's cheek and leant in closer.
Was this really happening? Emily thought to herself.
Her heart was pounding so quickly. Billie Joe kissed Emily so softly and she felt her knees go weak, they began kissing passionately. Billie Joe put his arms round Emily's neck and after a while they stopped.
"Wow" said Billie Joe. Emily was in paradise.
"That was...that was just..just...."
"Amazing" Billie Joe finished her sentence for her.
"Y' know Emily it's crazy, I've known you half an hour and already I know I like you so much"
"I like you too" she replied.
They kissed again and before she knew it Billie Joe was lying on her, his hands moving around freely.
"Look we don't have to" he said, "only if you want to"
"Yes" Emily replied "I do"
Billie Joe whispered softly in her ear, "You're so beautiful" he said.
Emily was a bit nervous, this was her first time, and it was with Billie Joe Armstrong! It just felt so right, and he was so gentle. Afterwards they lay lying in each others arms.
"I think I'm falling in love" said Billie Joe.
"I know I'm falling in love" Emily replied softly.
Later on they walked back to the dressing room.
"And where on earth have you two been all this time!?" Tre asked who was looking rather comfortable with Kelsie.
"Walking" replied Billie-joe.
"Yeah sure you have" yelled Mike who was playing his bass.
"You are all just so dirty minded!" said Billie Joe grinning.
"Listen Emily" Billie Joe whispered, "I wanna continue seeing you, here's my number, I want you to call me, in fact you and Kelsie can stay with us in our hotel tonight."
"Just to make sure I don't lose contact with you"
Emily smiled
"That would be amazing"
After a while the show started, and Emily and Kelsie watched from backstage, it was amazing! And Kelsie had told Emily about how Tre had asked her out, And then Emily told her about her and Billie Joe, they were so happy.
After the show they all went back to the hotel and had a celebration. Billie-Joe and Emily were standing hand in hand
"I'm so glad I met you Emily" he said
"Me too" she replied blushing.

Billie-Joe and Emily fell in love and got married, Tre and Kelsie also got married, Emily got over her anxiety and panic attacks, and Mike got married to one of Kelsie's good friends, they were all so happy and got on so great together. It was an amazing ending, Emily looked back on how she had always dreamt of this happening, and sometimes she still couldn't believe it was real.
