A Story With Only One Part, chapter 1
Leah walked down the street, going home from soccer practice when she heard her cell phone ring. Well, actually, it was the ring for the text message. She went to her text inbox and saw that the message was from her friend, Morgan. Morgan was a fun girl, a little crazy, who liked the color black alot and Green Day. The text message said this:
LEAH, I JST TOLD SAM FRM OUR MATH CLASS 2 GO FUCK HIMSELF CUZ HE SAID GREEN DAY WAS RETARDED! I FELT SO MUCH JOY IN SAYING THAT 2 HIM!
Leah hit the reply button on her cell phone. Morgan was clearly doing her job, saving Green Day from stupid people. Leah liked Green Day, she thought they had awesome music, but was not a crazy of fan as Morgan was, and Leah liked to leave the protecting Green Day part to Morgan. She wrote Morgan a text message back:
MORGAN SAVES GREEN DAY AGAIN!
Leah put her phone back in her pocket and continued to walk back home when she suddenly bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry", Leah said to the stranger she had bumped into. But he wasn't a stranger.
He was Billie Joe Armstrong. Leah didn't know him personally, but Morgan had showed her enough pictures of him to know who he was by looking at him. "Hi, I'm kinda lost, can we use a phone?" "Sure", said Leah. "Do you wanna come in? My house is just over there", she said again. He followed her to her house and Leah let Billie use her phone. Leah then got her cell phone and dialed Morgan's number. "Morgan, you better get over here, Billie Je is here", said Leah and she heard Morgan hang up.
A few minutes later, Morgan arrived. She rang the doorbell and said "Hi, Leah, I was in the neghiborhood, so I decided to stop by". Leah noticed that Morgan was wearing more eyeliner than she usually wore. "Do you want something to drink?", asked Leah, and lead Morgan into the kitchen. That's when Morgan saw him sitting at Leah's kitchen table. Morgan's eyes popped out and said "Are you Billie Joe Armstrong?". "Yep, that's me. I got lost so I decided to ask your friend if I could use her phone". Billie made his phone call and then said to Leah and Morgan "Mike and Tre are gonna pick me up, but they're gonna be awhile. Do you wanna go out for smoothies?". Morgan and Leah said yes (well it was more Morgan who said yes) and they walked to a smoothie shop nearby. They all got smoothies and talked for a while and then they headed back to Leah's house. A little while later, Mie and Tre came and picked Billie up. As they watched Billie leave, they saw him smile at them. They smiled back. This would be one of those things they would never forget.
