It's Comedy And Tragedy, chapter 7
"Well I'm tired as balls! Is there a hotel, or something around here?" asked Danielle.
"Uh, yea. Of course! Let's go, I'm really pooped too." Replied Adie. "Oh wait, Billie, are you going to be okay by yourself, or do you want someone to stay with you?"
"Nah, I'll be just fine. You guys go ahead." Replied Billie with a reassuring smile.
"Okay, then we'll see you tomorrow." Said Adie while bending down to plant a kiss on Billie's lips.
"Yea, see ya Bills!" replied Mike while patting Billie's shoulder.
All five left the room, leaving Billie in peace and quiet to turn in for the night. Adie and Rai walked in to the hotel lobby together, asking for two rooms. One for the girls, one for the guys. When both groups had settled in to their rooms, silence finally came over and everyone fell asleep.
Morning came. Rai was the first to wake up she looked to her left to see Danelle asleep in her bed. She decided to go straight to the hospital, hopefully to find James there, and make sure Billie was okay. She lazily pulled on a fresh pair of jeans and a t-shirt she found thrown in her suitcase. She just remembered that if she was going to move in with Danelle she would probably have go shopping for some clothes. She trudged over to the bathroom and brushed her teeth. She glanced in Adie's room to see if she was awake yet. She wasn't. Rai decided to take the stairs down, just cause she was bored. She finally reached the bottom floor and exited the hotel lobby. As she was walking to the hospital, she replayed the past events. From her meeting Green Day to her getting kidnapped, even to when Billie Joe kissed her. She found herself smiling at the memory of Billie's soft lips pressed up to hers. Then she shook the thought away. She didn't want to get caught up on him, even more than she is already. He has a wife and two sons, and she has Jake now. Nothing will ever change that.
She reached the hospital and again walked through the familiar lobby. She decided to take the elevator again, in hopes of maybe seeing James. The elevator door opened, no one was in there. She walked in and pressed 3. When she reached the third floor, she glanced at James' dad's room. She heard a bunch of beepers go off, probably from doctors, then a huge group rushed into James' dad's room. A wave of fear fell over Rai. "Was James' father okay?" she thought to herself. Eager to go look, she decided that she'd better check on Billie first, and if anything did happen James would come and tell her. She opened the door to find Billie still sleeping. She quietly closed the door behind her, and sat in the chair next to his bed. They were alone, once again.
Billie opened his eyes to find Rai smiling down upon him.
"Hey." He whispered.
"Hey, how are you doing? Do you need anything?" asked Rai.
"No, I'm fine. How are you doing?"
"I'm doing just fine, thanks." Replied Rai with a smile.
"Oh, before I forget, James dropped a letter by earlier." Said Billie
Billie leaned over and opened the drawer that was beside him. He pulled out a piece of paper with writing on it and handed it to Rai.
"Thanks." She said. "Did you read it?"
"No! I wouldn't do that. Well I just read the first line." Said Billie with a smile.
Rai sank in the chair beside Billie as she read the note:
Dearest Rai,
I regret to inform you that my dad's condition has worsened. They plan to relocate him to another hospital. I'm really sorry, but this is probably the last time you will hear from me... unless, you come with me to New York? I know I must seem really straightforward right now, but I really think we can make it together. If you come with me to New York, I promise to take good care of you! You're the first girl that I've ever felt this way about, and I don't want our relationship to end here. Please Rai, come with me. I will be waiting for you outside the hospital at 3:00PM, If you don't show, then I know what your answer must be. Tell the rest of the gang that it was an honor meeting them, hell, even getting punched by Billie Joe was pretty cool. Please Rai, come with me! I love you!

Rai's eyes filled with tears instantly. She looked up to Billie Joe.
"I knew he was a bastard! What the fuck did he say to you?" asked Billie, furious.
"No, nothing like that!" said Rai. "He is leaving to New York, his dad is being relocated. He wanted me to go with him, but I can't leave."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I had no idea." Said Billie.
"No, it's alright. I have no fucking clue what to do." Said Rai.
Billie reached his hand out and wiped a tear off her cheek.
"Go with him." Said Billie, as much as he liked her, he knew they would never be, and he wanted her to be happy.
"I can't just leave to New York. My friends are here, what about Danelle! I can't just leave, hell, what about you. I should at least stay with you till you recover." Replied Rai.
"I'll be fine, c'mon I have the guys, Adie, and even Danelle with me!" said Billie.
"No, I'd feel uncomfortable just to leave you here. Really, I just met him, I can't just leave with him to another state. As much as I like him, I would much rather stay here with you and my friends." Said Rai.
Billie was relieved! As much as he loves Adie and his family, he still has the little burning desire inside of him for Rai. Even though she was eighteen years younger than him, he couldn't help but feel attracted to her. She was overall a pretty girl. Medium length brown hair, bright green eyes, tan skin, and a skinny figure, but not too skinny. There was a knock at the door, which distracted Billie from his thoughts. Adie came in with a cup of coffee in her hand. She smiled at Billie, then at Rai.
"Hey, how are you doing baby?" asked Adie.
"I'm doing just fine." Replied Billie.
"Okay, I'll leave you guys alone, I'm going to get some coffee, so I'll be right back." Said Rai.
"Okay hun." Said Adie, who filled in the seat from which Rai rose from.
Rai exited the room, and walked to the Starbucks where James and her first talked.
"Uh, yea. Of course! Let's go, I'm really pooped too." Replied Adie. "Oh wait, Billie, are you going to be okay by yourself, or do you want someone to stay with you?"
