A Perfect Opportunity, chapter 5
~~The Next Day~~
"Wakey wakey." Lorelei repeatedly yanked at my arm so I would wake up.
"Uhhhhh....I'm too tired" I complained in a exausausted voice, I turned over and tryed to igonore her.
"Val! You have to wake up! Were going to look for jobs today, remember?" Lorelei sounded so irritating, of coarse everyone did in the morning.
"Ok, all right, i'm up." I was to tired to argue. "So what's for breakfast?" I said trying to pretend I was happy being awake.
~~Valery's P.O.V~~
"Well I don't know. Kam hasn't let me in the kitchen all day." Lorelei sighed.
"BREAKFAST IS SERVED!!" Kameron shouted from the dinning room so Lorelei and I could here him.
"Val you coming?" Lorelei asked me with confusion as why I didn't want to eat breakfast in my underwear and tank top.
"Huh! In case you haven't noticed i'm a little under dressed...I'll be down in a second." Chuckling to myself.
I took a shower, blow dried my hair, got dressed in my LEI jeans and my "gimme a break of that Kit-Kat bar" shirt.
I made my way down the stairs into the kitchen. I smelled the air it had a sweet fragance of breakfast take-out.
"So Kam...made breakfast did we?" I asked with suspiscion.
"Ha..no. Lorelei saw the take-out boxes. You'd you know?"
"Well it's easy to tell what's home-made and take-out."
We all laughed.
"I told him he's not aloud to cook big meals ever again."
After eating break-fast, Lorelei and Kameron went in their cars to look for job offers. Valery went to her car to look for job offers. They all returned to the house at 12:00pm.
~~Kameron's P.O.V~~
Bye the time Lorelei and I got to the house Valery was already there looking at jobs.
"Oh hey guys what did you find?" Valery had pushed away what she was looking at and was ready to see what we brought her.
"Val we sent your application to all the jobs that we picked out so you'll have a lot of interviews."
"Well that is if I like the job."
Trying to sound like the price is right speaker I said," Well Valery we have some nice choices for you. Lorelei would you please tell Valery what her choices are?"
"Sure Kameron. Valery there are some truly bad swimmers out there if you want to guard their lives you can be a Life Guard!"
"Well I'm one of those bad swimmers!"
"An Account?"
"That was my last job I got fired from."
"Soccer Coach?"
"Can't play soccer very good."
"Mascot?"
"No!"
"Undercover cop?"
"Undercover no!"
~~Half an hour later~~
"Well you picked five jobs out of 32 jobs."
"Cool and I've picked out five jobs from what I found too." There was nothing left to do so I said I'd be right back I was going to the dump to drop of the trash.
By the time I wasa heading back to my house I saw a man running after me in my mirror, he seemed to be holding something...something large. And he shot it at my car. It was him he'd come back!
