When I Came Around, chapter 1
Liz walked back in forth in her room deciding what to do with this wonderful gift she just received. She couldn't believe it. Her life could not have gotten any better. Not only was she popular, but she was on the track team, the basketball team, the volleyball team, and the cross country team. Not to mention being captain of the cheerleading squad. She had gotten Green Day backstage passes! She thought it would only happen in her dreams because of how lucky she already was!
She had only one obstacle to overcome. Who should she take?
"If I take Sarah, Danielle would be mad. If I take Danielle, Sarah would be mad. Who can I take?" she pondered to herself.
"Liz! Dinner's ready!" yelled her mom.
"Okay, Mom! I'll be down in a minute!"
She walked to the phone and started to dial Danielle's number. She hung up. She started to dial Sarah's number. She hung up again. She couldn't decide. She wanted to take Sarah because she loves Mike, but she didn't want to hurt Danielle. She wanted to take Danielle because she loves Tre, but she didn't want to hurt Sarah. She had never been faced with such a difficult decision before. Finally she decided. She dialed a number. The phone started ringing.
"Hello?" a voice answered.
"Hey, its me." Said Liz
"Oh, hey!"
"Yeah. I have some good news. I want you to come to the Green Day concert with me."
"OMG!!! SERIOUSLY!! OH THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH LIZ!!!!!!!!!!
"Yeah sure no problem. I have to go eat dinner now. Bye."
"Bye! Thanks a lot!"
She hung up. She realized it really wasn't that hard. Now she had to do the hard part.
She dialed the phone again. Again it rang.
"Hello?"
"Hey. I have to tell you something. I'm not taking you to the Green Day concert."
"Oh, you're not?"
"No, I'm taking... ... ... ... "
