You Can Tell Me Anything, chapter 23
*Kats POV*
After driving for what seemed like forever Mike stopped the car. Leaned over, kissed me on the cheek and gave me a hug.
"I'll see you later sweet heart."
Before I could even say anything I heard Tre and Billies doors open and shut.
"Mike?!!"
"I'm still here."
He started the car again.
"What the hell is going on!!?"
"Ooh relax Kat everything's fine."
"Can't you please tell me?"
"Nope."
"Mike!! Why not?"
"Because Tre would kill me."
I didn't say anything for the rest of the trip. I guessed we'd been driving for about ten minutes.
"Kat before I let you out of this car you have to promise me tow things."
"Okay... what?"
"One... DO NOT take off the blind fold."
"I promise."
"Two... DO NOT run."
"Ok ok I swear."
"Ok."
I heard Mikes door open and close. I was sacred for a minute that he was going to leave me there. But he didn't. He opened my door and took my hand.
"What your head."
"Where are we?"
"I can't tell you."
We walked up a path then I heard Mike knock on a door.
"What are you doing?" I asked
"For the last time... I can't tell you."
The door opened and I heard the voices for several girls.
"That god Mike I was getting a little worried."
"Nope we're here."
The Mike kissed me on the cheek and let go of my hand. Seconds later someone else grabbed it.
"Remember she's not allowed to take off that blind fold. Whatever you do... that stays on."
"Got it." Said a voice I thought I recognized.
"Ok Kat. I'll see you in a little while." He said hugging me one last time.
"Fine. Bye."
He let go and I felt my self being pulled through the door.
"Ok who is this and where am I?" I asked loudly.
"Kat... it's your cousin Heidi."
"Heidi?!! What's going on?"
"I'm sorry Kat I can't tell you."
"Ooh fine!! Who else is here?"
"Jen and Angie."
"What!?" Two voices I recognized as my two best friends.
"She's here!!" Heidi yelled back.
I heard them running down the stairs and wrapped me into a huge group hug.
"Let's get started." Jen yelled.
"Started with what?!" I yelled as the three of them lead me up the stairs.
"Heidi are we allowed to take off the blind fold?"
"Nope. Not for anything."
"Well this is going to be fun." Jen said.
"You bet." Angie added.
By now we'd some how made it up the stairs and into a room where I was pushed down in a chair. Jen and Heidi started pulling at my hair while Angie painted my nails. They talked the whole time like nothing was different.
"Kat why aren't you talking?" Angie asked.
"Ooh I don't know... maybe it's because I CAN'T SEE AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT'S GOING ON!!!" I yelled back.
"Kat if you move one more time I'm going to mess up your nails." Angie said very calmly.
"Yeah and Jen and I are going to screw up your hair." Heidi added.
"Why are you doing my hair?"
"You'll see in about an hour." Jen said.
The three of them continued talking for the next hour while I just sat there in silence.
"Kat do you have a problem with us changing you?" Heidi asked.
"After everything that's happened today I don't know what to expect so why not?"
They didn't say anything just pulled off my cloths and changed me into something. I couldn't tell what it was because they couldn't let me touch it. Angie held my hands above my head while Heidi and Jen changed me. After about 20 minutes they started leading me down the stairs. When they got to the bottom Jen shoved some shoes on my feet. They lead me to a car and started to drive. Angie was still holding my hands up so I couldn't touch whatever they'd changed me into. After about 15 minutes Heidi stopped the car and I heard their doors open and shut. A few seconds later mine opened.
"Kat it's Angie... watch your head."
"I wish one of you would tell me what's going on."
"It's just me now. Heidi and Jen had to go."
"Go where!?"
"Chill... the same place you are."
"Where is that?"
"You'll find out."
She pulled open a door and I heard some hushed voices.
"Hey Sam." Angie said as she gave my hand to who I guessed was my other best guy friend Sam.
"Ok Angie Thanks." He said.
"Now remember the blind fold stays on until the last minute."
"Yes Angie I know!! Everyone has told me at least 5 times."
"Ok ok sorry. Well I better get going."
"Alright see you soon."
I heard another door open and shut. I stood there in silence for a few seconds.
"So Kat... hellish day?"
"Ooh yeah...so I guess you can't tell me anything either?"
"Nope sorry. But I am the one that gets to take off the blind fold."
"Ooh my god yes!! Get this thing off!"
"Not yet."
I groaned and he just laughed. After a dew more minutes of standing in silence he finally said it was time to go. We walked down a hallway and stopped in fount of a set of doors.
"Now." He said as he took off my blind fold. My eyes swelled with tears and I also fainted as he linked his arm with mine.
