You Can Tell Me Anything, chapter 25
*Billie Joes POV*
We danced... and danced... .and drank... .and dance... .and laughed... and danced... .and drank... and ooh yeah we ate... and danced... .and ate...
*Mikes POV*
I don't think I've ever danced this much in my life. Wooo!! Kat has some hot friends. Or cousins... ooh well it's all the same...
*Tre POV*
Kat is sooo surprised. I'm amazed at how well this all worked out. Billie's drinking and dancing like a total idiot. Mikes running around drinking and chasing Kats friends. I wondered about that. I didn't really give it much thought. I'm sure Kat and I'll talk about it later. Maybe Mikes trying to keep him and Billie under wraps. Maybe they were both drunk that night or maybe Mike's drunk tonight. Whatever.
"IT'S TIME FOR PRESANTS!!!"
Sam yelled. Kat and I ran into the middle of the dance floor where Sam had just put two chairs and a huge pile for gifts. Everyone gathered about us as Kat and I got ready to start. We opened them one at a time taking turns opening them. We got all the usual wedding stuff... kitchen appliances... .a TV... .a new house phone... .mixing bowls... .and everything else. It took about 45 minutes to get through everything. Kat yelled out her thanks and the music started up again.
"Stop!!!"
Sam, Heidi, Angie, Jen, Mike and Billie all yelled at the top of their lungs. The DJ stopped the music and everyone turned to look at them.
"We have one more!!"
Sam hollered. I smiled at Kat and pulled her close to me. Sam walked up and handed me an envelope. Kat tilted her head but Sam just smiled. I opened it and my mouth almost hit the floor.
"WE'RE GOING TO FUCKING HAWAII!!" I screamed and everyone went nuts.
"WHAT!!!..." Kat screamed taking the envelope from my hands. "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!"
She ran over and jumped into Sams arms then hugged Jen, Angie, Heidi, Mike and Billie. Saying thank you all the way. I was too stunned to move. After a few seconds I snapped out of it and hugged everyone as well. After that the party started up again. About two hours later we all went back to the tables to eat. Our table was from left to right... Angie, Jen, Heidi, Kat, Me, Mike, Sam and Billie on the end. The other tables where filled with what little family we still had and all of our friends. Mrs. Armstrong was there as well. We had veggie lasagna and chicken. The vegetarians ate veggie lasagna and salad. This is more than awesome. Kat looks sooo beautiful tonight. She must have caught me staring at her because she put her hand on my leg and asked what was wrong.
"Ooh nothing... I was just thinking about how beautiful you are right now."
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too."
She kissed me on the cheek then turned to says something Heidi. I cannot believe we pulled this off. I turned to Mike and asked him when we're leaving for Hawaii and how long we're staying.
"Well... " Mike said with a wide smile. "You leave tonight at 2:30 and you're not coming back for a week."
"Holy shit!!" How the hell did you pay for this!!?"
"Let's just say we have our ways."
Mike smiled then went back to eating. I took Kats hand under the table and gave it a quick squeeze. She smile and squeezed back. Everyone kept eating and drinking for the rest of the night. Mike did some kind of strip tease on a table top. Billie tried to pull him down but gave up and ended up dancing with him. Kat laughed until they pulled her up with them. She didn't protest though. I don't know if she was a little tipsy or she just thought what the hell. I thought it was hot. Around 10 o'clock Billie got up and sang a new song he said he'd written for the event. He said this is a slow song so we all need to grab someone special and have a good time. I spotted Kat who was half way across the dance floor. I ran over and brought her into the middle of the floor. I pulled her close and danced as we listened to Billie sing.
"It's something unpredictable
But in the end is right
I hope you had the time of you're life."
He finished and stood up throwing the mic down at Kat. We broke apart and she caught the mic.
"We want to thank you all sooooo much for doing all this!!!! We love you!!! Now get the hell out!!"
Everyone laughed and started to gather their things as I took the mic and screamed into it.
"WAIT!!!"
Everyone stopped dead in their tracks and turned to look at me. Billie, Mike, Sam, Heidi, Angie and Jen had taken their places on the stage. I grabbed Kats hand and took her to the stage. She seemed a little scared but came anyway.
"Now... " Sam bellowed into his mic. "We all know that Kat wants to know how we did all this... and we'll get to that. But for now we're all going to share some embarrassing story about Kat and Tre!!"
I didn't even know about this one. Mike gave us a chair so I say down and pulled Kat into my lap. We sat there and listening to them tell stories about when we where little. Heidi told a story about Kat skinny dipping when she was 5 and Sam told one about Kat falling off her bike into a pile of snow when she was 13. I got off a lot easier then she did. The only bad story they told about me was when I lost one of my balls a few years ago. Mike finished by calling me nutclops and telling me it was my turn to talk.
"Here you go nutclops." Everyone started laughing but Mike just smiled and handed me the mic.
"Haha real funny Mike." I added giving him a dirty look.
After about 5 minutes everyone calmed down and I started to talk.
"Now the funny thing about this wedding is that it was thrown together by seven idiots in less than 24 hours. I think it turned out rather well don't you?"
With that everyone screamed in approval.
"Now I know Kat really wants to know how we did it. And I'm going to tell her. Actually Mike is." I turned off the mic and threw it at him.
"Ooh great... thanks nutclops." I gave him another dirty look but he kept talking.
"Well it was all really east actually. Tre told us what he wanted to do and we made a few calls and ran with it. No really this was a lot of work. And I did almost none of it. For the dress and getting Kat ready we have Heidi, Jen and Angie to thank. They also had the incredible task of finding this awesome wedding dress. Not only did they have to dress Kat but themselves as well. We couldn't have done it without them. Sam was a real key person too. Not only did he walk Kat down the isle to give her away but he's also the person that got all of you amazing people here tonight. We would like to thank the DJ and everyone else that helped with this wedding for pulling it all together in less than 24 hours. Thank you!! If you're wondering what Billie, Tre and I were doing through all this... we where finding tuxes and keeping Kat in the dark. I'm sorry to say Kat but it wasn't that hard."
He smiled and passed the mic back to me.
"Well... .I think Mike got it all. Unless anyone has anything left to add?" I looked around and no one said anything so I kept going.
"We would like to thank you all for being here and doing such an amazing job!! Now it's been a really long two days so I think everyone should go home and get some sleep!! As for Kat and I we're leaving in a few hours for Hawaii for a week!! We'll call everyone when we get home!! Love you!!"
Everyone laughed and gathered their stuff to leave. After a half hour it was only Mike, Billie, Sam, Angie, Jen, Heidi, Kat and I left. We thanked them all one more time and Sam, Angie, Jen and Heidi left. Kat sighed as we walked over to the car. I took her hand and pulled her close to me once we where in the car.
"You guys are the best." She said.
"Yeah we know." Mike said with a smile.
"So what are you two going to do in Hawaii?" Billie asked as he turned in his seat to talk to us.
"What do you think?" I asked with a laugh.
"They're gonna get it ONNNNN!!!" Mike screamed
Kat blushed and Billie laughed. I smacked Mike in the back of the head. We rode home talking about our trip and the wedding. I'm going to miss Billie and Mike a lot but I'm also going to have an amazing time with Kat. We pulled into the drive way and Kat ran into the bathroom.
"Ooh my god!!!" She screamed.
"What?!" We all yelled as we ran up the stairs.
"This is gorgeous!!!!" She whispered with tears in her eyes.
"Is this the first you've seen the dress?" Mike asked.
"Yeah. No one let me take off the blind fold until Sam was walking me down the isle." She answered.
"Ooh I forgot about that." Mike said.
"Where's my skirt?" She asked.
"Ooh it's in the car... I'll get it for you." Billie said as he headed out of the bathroom and down the stairs.
After another hour or so Kat and I had gotten a shower and changed into some comfy cloths. All our stuff was packed and in the car. Mike and Billie are going to drive us to the air port and wait with us. We got to the air port, went through all the costumes stuff and where ready to get on the plane. We hugged Mike and Billie one last time then said good bye. We got all settled in the plane and I put my arms around Kat. She laid her head on my shoulder and fell asleep. We aren't even off the ground yet. She must be really tired. I pulled down a blanket and wrapped it around her. She cuddled into me a little more and fell into a more peaceful sleep. I can't wait to get to Hawaii!!!!
