1,000 Hours, chapter 15
~Friday Night~
Emily was all going nuts because she couldn't find her eyeliner.
''Just use mine.'' I said.
''But I don't wanna use black!''
''Emily, you are going on a date with Billie Joe freakin' Armstrong. You know better than NOT to use black. Now use it.''
''Okay.''
''And get out of that pink outfit. Here wear this.''
I handed her a black and white Ac Dc tank top and faded out jeans that were ripped here and there.
''But they're ripped.'' She said.
''That's the whole point!''
I shook my head and went downstairs and watched TV. Then my cat, E-Wac, (yeah he looks like a little E-Wac) jumped up on my lap and started purring. I stroked his head and Emily came down the stairs and said,
''How do I look?''
''Good.''
Then the doorbell went off and she said,
''That must be Billie.''
So she answered it then Tre's voice yelled,
''Oh Nikky!''
''What?!''
He walked in and sat next to me on the couch.
''Aw I love kitties!'' He exclaimed. I laughed as he pet E-Wac. Then E-Wac freaked out and jumped off and ran in the kitchen. We laughed and Tre said,
''I haven't had my hug today.''
I gave him a hug and kissed his cheek. I flipped through the channels and Tre said,''Wait go back.''
I did and the music video for When I Come Around was on. I looked at Tre's hair (in the video) and laughed.
''Oh you like my hair?'' He said.
''Yeah.''
I queitly sang to it as he air-drummed to it. When it was over, I continued to flip through the channels.
''God there is nothing on.''
''Wanna go rent a movie?''
''Sure.''
We got up and got in his car and headed to the rental place. When we got there, I said,''So what do you wanna get?''
''Hmm.''
He walked over to the kid's section and grabbed the Spongebob Squarepants movie. I laughed and he said,
''What you don't like Spongebob?''
''I love him.''
''Cool.''
We looked around some more and got Independence Day. Whenever we walked to get in line, there were some people walking in and one of them had on a Green Day shirt and Tre said,
''Oh shit.''
He looked down and luckily they didn't see him. But when we walked out, there were some more people and one yelled,
''AHH OMIGOD IT'S TRE COOL!''
Tre got wide-eyed and said,
''Run!''
But then the teenies surrounded him and pushed me out of the way.
''Ahh Nikky where'd you go?!'' I could hear him yelling. I jumped up and said,
''Over here!''
Then I pushed my way through and grabbed his arm and pulled him out. Then we ran to his car and sped off.
''Woo that was fun.'' He said. When we got back, he said,
''So which one do you wanna watch first?''
''You pick.''
''Alright.''
He pulled out Independence Day and put in in the DVD player. We cuddled next to each other on the couch. When the part when the alien like smacks into the glass wall out of the fog, Tre screamed and buried his head in my shoulder.
''Is it gone?'' He said.
''Yeah.'' Even though it relly wasn't. He sat up and screamed and yelled,
''No it's not!'' He buried his head back in my shoulder and I laughed.
''Okay it's gone now.''
''Really?''
''Yeah.''
He looked up abnd let out a sigh of relief.
