Who Are Ya?!, chapter 2

Young Billie and his best friend, Mike, created their own little "band." They got together at Billie's house to entwine their talents. Billie Joe wrote the lyrics, played the piano, and sang, while Mike plucked away at his bass. Although, both were thinking that they need to spice things up a bit. Out of desperation to make their music better, but also out of boredom, the two planned to hold auditions over spring break, which was just around the corner.
"This'll be great! If we find someone in one week, we'll be able to enter the talent show," Billie Joe explained to Mike.
"Yeah great, but don't ya think we need a guitar player?"
"Hmm.. We could do that..." BJ said with some hesitation.
"What's wrong with it?"
"Nothing, you're just nicer than me... I mean, putting up with you is bad enough... But havin' to deal with you and two other people... Now, thats a pain in the ass!"

Auditions were held in Billie Joe's garage, and surprisingly his parents thought it'd be entertaining to watch. Billie held the sign up list that was posted in the school hallways two weeks before the break, with twenty people on the list, which clearly stated:

ROCKIN' AWESOME GUITAR AND DRUMMERS WANTED. WE ONLY WANT THE BEST OF THE BEST, SO IF YOU'RE NOT ROCKIN' AWESOME GO HOME AND DON'T WASTE MY TIME!

After an hour of audtions, Billie was annoyed with the people who couldn't read his requirements on the sign up sheet, and Mike and Billie's parents were entertained.
"Now that's what I call hilarious free entertainment! Maybe you should start your own show, eh, Billie?" his dad joked. Billie rolled his eyes. He was sick of the sound of unrecognizable guitar songs and the random beating of drums. One last guy entered the garage trying to catch his breath.
"Go away. Auditions closed, bud," Billie yelled.
The guy ignored Billie and took a seat at the drum set. The boy brought his own drum sticks and started to bang away at the drums. Mike was surprised at the kid's talent, as were the parents. Billie was too tired to care. Although they found their drummer, they didn't find their guitarist. Exhausted, he yelled, "You're rockin' awesome. You're in, I'm done!" BJ walked up to the kid for a handshake and turned around to go inside the house. The kid looked confused by Billie's annoyed attitude, but was soon awed by Mike and BJ's parents.
"Who are ya?!" Mike exclaimed, "Cuz you freakin' rock!"
