Another Boy, Another Love, Another Heartbreak, chapter 3
I saw Billie Joe, Tre' and Mike walking over to my locker where I was getting my books.
"Hey Kailee." Said Tre'.
"Hey," I said not really paying much attension considering I was trying to figure out where my first class was.
"Need help finding your class?" Asked Billie Joe.
"That'd be great." I said handing my schedule to Billie Joe. Tre' was fiddling with his red and black tie.
"Cool tie." I said. His eyes brightened like I just handed him a gold metal for being the hottest buy on earth.
"Thank you." He beamed. I couldn't help but laugh. Then I noticed Mike was laughing with me.
"Jeeze Tre' I told you that ten minutes ago and all you did was grunt." Said Mike. Tre' kicked him.
"Hey we have three classes together." Said Billie Joe still looking down at my schedule.
"Cool," I said.
"And Tre' you have one class together. How ironic." He smirked. Tre' kicked him too. Does Tre' like me? No way how could anyone like me? I thought to myself.
"To answer your question follow me. We have Math together." Said Billie Joe. I followed him into our first class and took the seat beside him.
"What is up with Tre'?" I asked him. "Or is he always like this?" I asked giggling slightly.
"I dunno." He said.
When the bell rang Billie Joe said,
"Hey Kailee, do you want to come over? We could just hang out. Tre' and Mike are coming too." He said.
"I'd love too." I pulled out my cell phone and left a message on my mom's answering macine. Mike and Tre' were a few yards behind me and Billie Joe.
"So is it just you and your mom?" He asked.
"Yeah my dad left when I was seven. I guess I'm better off without him." I said.
"Yeah my dad died when I was ten." He said.
"Oh I'm sorry." I said.
"No, no don't be." He said waving his hand as if brushing it away. When we arrived at Billie Joe's house he reached up over the porch beam and felt around for the key. He unlocked the door once he found it.
"Want anything to drink?" He offered.
"Yeah," Said Tre'.
"Sure." I said.
"I'm gonna go take a leak." Said Mike.
"I'll go get us drinks. Make yourselves at home." He said. Me and Tre' sat down on the sofa. We sat in silence for about five minuets.
"So uh..." I broke the silence.
"God you're so beautiful." He said then he kissed me on the lips. I heard somthing move in the doorway. I pulled away just in time to see Billie Joe disappearing into the kitchen.
"Hey Kailee." Said Tre'.
