Another Boy, Another Love, Another Heartbreak, chapter 7
"You what?" I asked him.
"Well--" He started to say something but then Tre' came running around the side of the buliding.
"Look, Billie... I am so sorry!" He said. "I don't knwo what I was thinking! I wasn't thinking!" He said. I looked at Billie, was he seroisly going to forgive him!?!
"Tre'..." He trailed off.
"Billie I understand if you know... You don't ever want to speak to me again." He said. Suddenly I heard the sadness in his voice and in spit of myself I felt bad. Tre' gave him a puppy dog look.
"Jesus Tre'! How can I stay mad at you when you do that?" He asked getting up and putting Tre' in a joking headlock.
"And Kailee--" He turned towards me.
"All forgiven." I said. I didn't want to hate one of Billie Joe's closest friends.
"Thanks." He said struggling out of his headlock.
"Eh, eh eh! Watch the arm!" Billie Joe said releasing Tre' and pointig to his bruised arm.
Billie Joe and I had a big history exam in two days to we decided to study at my house. I warned him my mom was going to be home but he said it was fine.
"Hello. You must be Billie." My mom said. "I've heard a lot about you." She smiled at him. She invited him in.
"Ooh that doesn't look to good. How'd you get that?" She asked pointing to Billie's bruise on his face.
"Oh I just... It's fine." He said. "Really." I added when he saw the disbeleaving look on my mom's face.
"Okay. Do you want some ice for that?" She asked.
"No, no it's fine really." He said waving it off.
"Okay well, I better let you two study." She said.
"We'll be in my room." I said racing Billie Joe up the stairs. He won. I shut the door behind me and sighed.
"What?" He asked. "Hey at least she's not as bad as my mom." He said. I smiled and flopped onto my bed beside him.
"God, your so damn pretty." He said stroking my hair. I layed down on my back and smiled up at him.
"We better get studying." I said even though I did kind of want to fool around a bit.
"Okay." He sighed and took out his history book.
We studied for about an hour before my mom came up with some soda's.
"I just wanted to check in. How's everything going?" She asked.
"Fine." I said taking a sip of my soda.
"We're just about finnished." Billie Joe said.
"Okay," She said. She closed the door behind her. My mom has never been really strickt about having boys in my room. She had never really needed to be to be honest. I have only had one other boyfriend and that was in the 7th grade.
