Too Much Too Soon, chapter 1
"What happened?!"
"Oh My God!"
"Can you hear me?"
"Talk to me!"
"What am I going to do?!"
"Hang on, just hang on..."
The stars twinkled above Billie's head, and the wind blew through his jet black hair as he leaned against the tour bus for a smoke. He wrapped his black leather jacket tighter to his body and crossed his arms to keep warm. His cigarette wasn't too fancy, but he was is desperate need of one. Tre walked up to him with a large cigar wrapped around his smiling lips.
"Ha, what the hell are you smoking?" Tre laughed.
"Whatever I could find in the bus. I see you're enjoying a-"
"Yeah, the bar tender gave it to me."
"Now what did your mother say about taking things from strangers," Billie joked, and Tre laughed.
"You guys ready to go?" Mike said popping his head through the doors of the bus.
"I'm coming, 'Mommy Dearest'," Tre said tauntingly as he stepped onto the bus, with Billie laughing after Tre.
"Nice cigar, Tre," Jason said slouched on the side couch of the rather spacious bus.
"Thanks," Tre said smoothly.
The bus was heading to California from Nevada, and the boys were heading to their last concert for the season. They planned to take breaks during the end of fall through the end of mid spring as a way to relax and spend time with their family.
"Excited to get home, Billie?" Mike asked.
"What? Oh, yeah, yeah," Billie said as his eye lids drooped with weariness. Tre was in his bunk snoring loudly under his sheets, unlike Jason who slept peacefully with his constant breathing.
"Yeah, I'm hoping to spend time with Stella, ya know? She's growin' up so fast..."
"Yep, a kid can do that to ya."
*Bzzt. Bzzt. Bzzt* Billie's cell vibrated against the couch. He answered it:
"Hello."
"BILLIE!"
"Adrienne, how are y-"
"Billie listen to me," her voiced filled with concern.
"Wh-wh-what?"
Mike looked up from the floor to see Billie leaning over resting his elbows on his knees.
"Oh, Billie... I-"
"Are you excited to see me home? Hehehe because I-"
"No. I mean yes, I am but-"
